Since the park was nearly 2 hours away, Violet and Courtney were going to sleep at a motel tonight, because it'd be nighttime by the time they leave, and Violet didn't want to drive around at night in bad neighborhoods with Courtney, out of fear of something happening to her.
She drove and drove until she reached the motel to drop off their stuff, being extra careful to not wake Courtney. When they arrived, Violet parked and gently shook Courtney awake.
"Courtney, we're here. Wake up, my sweet girl!" Violet was smiling as she woke her girlfriend up.
Courtney moved a bit, and woke up. She cutely yawned and reached out to hug Violet. She hugged her tight and quietly said, "I'm so cold..."
"You must be, it's 29 degrees out! Let's get inside so I can warm you up." She went around and carried Courtney to their room, sat her on the bed, then came back out for her bag. As soon as she got back, she took out Courtney's warm sweater and put it on her, then wrapped her neck with her scarf.
"Come here... I just don't want you to get sick." Violet said as she bundled Courtney up. "Stay all nice and warm..." Violet said to no one in particular. She looked at Courtney, who look adorable all bundled up for the cold. She hugged her close to warm her and lightly rubbed her back. "Warm now?" Violet asked. Courtney buried her face in Violet's neck and mumbled, "Mm-hmmm..."
"Ok, you should get dressed now so we can go." Violet told her. Courtney took off her sweater and pajamas and put on her pink dress. She put her white sweater back on since she was so cold. Evn though she had a sweater over her dress, she still looked adorable. She turned to Violet and asked her nervously, "Do I still look cute?"
Violet went up to her smiling, playfully grabbed her, threw her on the bed, then jumped next to her and kissed her. "Is that even a question?" she asked.
Courtney giggled and exclaimed, "Yay! Ok, let's go!" She grabbed Violet's hand and rushed out the motel door. They got in the car and began heading towards the amusement park.
