i was laying on my bed, matt and i were going to go walk around later. i sighed, too tired to go anywhere but i wasn't about to cancel on matt. i stood up slowly, i left on what i was wearing when we went to the mall. If i was too lazy to stand up there was no way i was changing.

the sun had already set, there were only a few stars in sight. i stood in place looking at the window when the doorbell rang. I quickly shut my blinds and ran to the front door. "im going with matt, bye mom!" i shouted, letting her know i was leaving. "have fun" she shouted back before i shut the front door.

matt was standing in front of the door, his hair was messy but not a bad messy. and he was wearing a black hoodie with sweatpants. "hey izzy" he smiled. "hi matt" i smiled back. i grabbed his arm and started pulling him away from my house so we could start walking. 

"why is it actually starting to get cold" i questioned, trying to start a conversation. "cause fall is starting, the best season" he replied looking at me.

we were walking side by side, at a perfect pace. "you're right" i say, looking at the trees that leaves were turning orange. "about what? why its cold or fall being the best season?" he asks. "fall is the best season. well actually, both" i smile
softly. he laughed. "what's so funny" i said raising an eyebrow, i knew confusion was written all over my face.

"you're so clueless sometimes izzy" he responded. "and hows that" i stood still in the middle of the sidewalk. he stopped when he realized i stopped walking. "well i dont know, you just are" he shrugged, it was completely dark besides the one street light shining off on us. after a couple of seconds in silence he started walking.

he got a few steps ahead so i walked quickly to catch up with him. "school is killing me" i complained. "dont worry, its our last year" he replied. his tone was calm, like it always was. i take that back, how it sometimes is.

"is that the park?" i squealed. "no its an aquarium" matt replied sarcastically. i rolled my eyes, "you're not funny" i scoffed. "well-"

i interrupted him before he said anything else "THE SWINGSSS" i yelled before running off to the empty set of swings. i sat down and start kicking my feet back and forth.

matt ran up to me while i was swinging on the swings. "you're so childish" matt chuckled, sitting on the swing besides mine. "so what, just live your laugh" i shrugged, going higher in the air.
