“Mom I’m going outside” I said as I tied my laces and was ready to go outside. I was about to step outside, my mom called me, “Joshua take your sister too! She wants to go with you!”.

I called my sister and she came running towards me happily. I crouched down and helped her tie the shoelaces, “Let’s go” I said holding her hand as we stepped out of the house.

Holding hands is mandatory because my sister would go with anyone she thinks is good, that happens a lot. More than a lot actually... She got lost many times. That’s why I have to take extra care, I don’t want to get scolded again...

“Where are we going?” She asked me, her eyes sparkling as she looked up at me. I said with a smile, “We going to play with my friends in the park,”.

“Oh oh! Seungcheol and Hosha Hyung will be there?” She asked excitedly. Her habit of calling Hoshi as Hosha is adorable itself. “Yes your favourite Seungcheol and Hoshi Hyung will be there” I replied smiling. “Oki,” She beamed walking while jumping here and there. ‘Is she too small to be 8 years old or is it only my imagination?’ I thought to myself as I watched her skipping steps while walking.

While going to the park, we stopped by an ice-cream truck, I bought her an ice cream because it was summer and the weather was too hot. When we reached the park I spotted my friends, “Hi everyone,” I said waving to them while walking towards them. Seungcheol waved and came towards us, “Hi! You are finally here” . “Hi” I said, Seungcheol did little waves to Hori who was also giving small waves to him while standing beside me. “Hori is here” Hoshi came running to Hori and took her to play with him.

Seungcheol and Hoshi was playing with Hori while I went to my other new friend from school. Brown hair , pretty eyes and named “Yoon Jeonghan” who was facing his back to us doing something on the sand area . I said “Hi” to him and he also said “Hi”.

“What are you doing?” I asked curious. “I’m finding treasure” He said. I looked down at the ground, “What treasure?”. There was nothing to be called as treasure, as much as I know. Jeonghan shook his head, “Shhh don’t say that loud there is a treasure here buried by aliens who once ruled earth” He replied with full confidence.

“Really?” I said excitedly. “Yes there is- You take this and dig here and I will go find other location” He said handing me the toy shovel he was working with. “Ok” I said and started to dig but then I realized something. I stared at the marble then I sighed and glared at Jeonghan, “Jeonghan but there is marble on the depth” I said. Jeonghan smirked and looked at me, “Hehe, I fooled you!” He laughed and threw sand at me then started running. I gasped, “Come here” I said and started to chase him.

We were running and then he slipped, falling on the sand and because of him I fell too. We both then started to laugh. He threw sand at me again and then the great war of sand started.

                          

•𝙅𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙣•

We were fighting, Unintentionally, I threw the sand on the opposite side, Behind me. Then I heard a little voice. Little coughs from a person. I was sitting and instead of standing up or moving- I laid down to see who it is. The time stopped as my heart skipped a beat. I saw a small, Cute and Beautiful figure in front of my eyes. Her hair flowing in the wind, her pretty face... I couldn't help but stare at the pretty doll like beauty standing there. I just stayed there watching her coughing sand- So pretty...

I opened my mouth to speak, “Who’s princess are you girl?” I thought I was thinking but I said it aloud. I wanted to face palm but I was too busy staring and wondering why the time is getting slow?

Popping my bubble of thoughts, Joshua stood up, “Mine” he said and walked towards the girl. He looked at the girl concerned, “Are you okay?” He asked and dusted off the sand on her face and clothes. Seungcheol and Hoshi also came while I layed their watching them.

“Come with me” Seungcheol said and went to wash her face. Joshua followed them. I was laying on the sand smiling like an idiot. Hoshi sat beside me waving his hands on front of my eyes but I did not care at all. I closed my eyes and her face was in front of my eyes. I smiled brightly- dreamingly. To my surprise, my lips uttered, “How pretty can someone be...” I said aloud AGAIN.

Hoshi did not have to but he responded, “Yeah, I agree they are pretty...” Hoshi said looking at the direction they went. I looked at Hoshi with narrow eyes, “They?”. Hoshi looked at me and nodded, “Hori and her brother” Hoshi said. “Hori, What a nice name” I said rested my head on ground again. I close my eyes, “Her brother who is it?” I asked to Hoshi.“Joshua” He said. I sat up and looked at Hoshi shocked, “She is Joshua’s sister!?”. Hoshi nodded, “No wonder why they look alike” Hoshi said.

I facepalmed, I tease Joshua a lot and now, “No!, I threw sand at her! ” I said burying my face in my hands. Hoshi looked at me, “You should go wash your face because you are looking like a sandman” Hoshi burst into laughter. I realised, “Oh” I said and ran to wash my face. I looked myself in the bathroom mirror and Hoshi was right I am a sandman now.

After cleaning my face and dusting the sand off my clothes, I came back and saw her, Joshua dusted the sand on their clothes and here are my shoes filled with sand. How embarrassing! I went towards them and said sorry to the cute girl with pretty name “Hori”. Joshua introduced me to her and Bingo! She is only two years younger than me. I thought she was younger than 8 tho. She is small. We then talked and played with each other and even her voice is good-

“Jeonghan stop you are Embarrassing!” I thought to myself.
