Chapter 2- The fuel to spark an old flame

 Enter ???:

The male walked alongside the cracks of the sidewalk, stumbling and holding his head. He stumbled backwards as he saw a flash of lights coming toward him at fast speeds, confusion lacing his mind as he falls backwards. The male covers his eyes and shields himself expecting someone to suddenly cause harm to him, or something of the sort. When he realised he was not being caused harm, the male quickly stood, catching himself before falling again.

"What the hell was that..?" He spoke under his breath, careful to not allow listening ears to hear him in his vulnerable state.

The male ran a pale hand through his dark black locks as he looked around his surroundings. He squinted towards the wooded area across the gravel where all the fast moving lights once blinded him and began to wonder how to get over there. He looked around to ensure the coast was clear and took off running towards the woods. Once inside, he continued to run deeper in to get himself far from the commotion.

"Where the hell am I? This world is strange indeed. This must be the land that strangely dressed woman that annoying pup ran around with comes from. But how do I survive in a world so strange.. and what do I do about my clothing? I need to blend in." The male spoke to the nothingness around him as he shut his deep maroon eyes and pondered how to fit into this new world.

He looked around again as he heard footsteps. He raised his hand to ward off the intruder but the old man simply laughed and told him to lower his hand before he loses it. The old man had long silver hair and a beard stretching down to his mid chest. You couldn't see his eyes and he wore a white kimono shirt with blue shrine keeper pants. The man smiled and stretched a hand towards the deeper area of the woods as if inviting him to follow. The male grimaced unsure of what to do but followed after him. They ventured further into the woods passing large trees that seemed to all be losing their life and color as they went further in. Suddenly he noticed a glimmer several yards away and as they got closer, he realized it was the glimmer of a barrier. He smiled as he quickly gathered this man was not your "run of the mill human". They entered the barrier without issue and suddenly the male was surrounded with gorgeous trees full of green leaves and some even bore fruits of all kinds. The grass was bright as if it was constantly kept under the strict eye of the world's most amazing gardener. The sky had some clouds scattered but was otherwise just as cheery as the rest of the area. As they continued to walk through this new beautiful land, he began to make out the outlines of what seemed to be a mid sized house with smoke coming out of, he hoped, the chimney. He admired the detail the now full view house donned. The outside was all maroon brick and there was a chestnut brown porch swing sitting upon the front porch. The front porch was a beauty in itself with eight light brown sugar colored stairs that flowed into a large front porch that bore the porch swing, several potted tiger lilies and a large golden retriever sprawled out by the swing. As they reached the house, they made their way up the stairs and reached the dark red velvet colored door. The old man turned his attention towards the dark haired male behind him.

"I know who you are, how you arrived here and I can help you to not only survive this world but to achieve your goals. In exchange, I want in. I was banished here by none other than the same person you seek to find, so if you will let me come as well, I will help you." The old man said raising his brows revealed worn but still fierce dark blue eyes.

"That is a fair exchange. There's one condition I will request however. If I am to take you, you will release your past ties and go about your life however else you please. Do we have a deal, old man?" The dark haired male asked as he extended his pale arm, offering his hand.

The old man thought for a minute then extended his wrinkled light skinned arm towards the other males own arm, took his hand and shook it sealing their deal. Before he could release the males hand, he spoke a few words in ancient language as purple chains wrapped around both their hands and forearm. They disappeared and the men released their grips. They nodded at each other in understanding and the old man opened the door as the dog ran in front of him and into the house. Once inside they were greeted by a warm fireplace that had some logs burning slowly, as they made their way over to a few chairs in a circle sort-of setting. As they went to sit down, the older man began to speak.

"Now, let us get down to business. I know who it is you seek and where you can find them, but in order to find them you need to unlock your full potential. I know of more people like you and me, banished by the same person, that would like to get revenge on them as well." The older man looked into fire for a moment, before looking back into the younger males gaze.

"And what would my "full potential" happen to be, old man?" He looked suspiciously into his eyes, thinking of what he could be speaking of. Before the man could answer the question however, a young teen walked out from the hallway, wiping the sleep from her eyes. The young female looked from the old man to the younger male, before throwing her arms up in defeat and walking back into the hallway. They could hear a door softly shut from the darkness, before silence took over once more.

"As I was saying before my granddaughter came out, I know how to fully unlock your potential. In order to do so, you must be willing to train. Your powers are not all they can be because you were passed over so to speak. I see the power inside you and I know I can transform you into what you long to become, son. Now, I assume being new to this world you haven't the slightest clue where to live, eat, or even how to function here. Is that correct?" The old man explained, ending with a question he was sure he knew would be a yes.

"This is a fact, old man. I could use some help getting to understand how exactly this world works and how to live inside it. I'm also intrigued what you might know about my powers and how I can maximize their full potential.." The dark haired male answered in curiosity.

"As I thought. Lean in close now and take my hand, I don't have much power left in this world as limitations were put on me when I was banished but I still have enough to show you visions. Once you see these, everything will become very clear to you." The older man said as they joined hands.

The older man's hands lit up and his hair flew up revealing bright blue eyes. The younger males own maroon eyes grew brighter as he sat astonished by the visions he was shown of this new world, his world and who he needed in order to fulfill his destin
