Prologue

Today, I woke up early, determined to be on time for my first day of school. I disliked being late, mainly because I wanted to avoid a lecture from my teacher.

As I sat up in bed, I reached for my phone on the nightstand. When I checked the time, I realized it was only 5:40 AM-much earlier than I had anticipated. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to take a shower and complete my morning skincare routine.

After finishing my shower and skincare, I stepped out of the bathroom and headed to my dresser. I grabbed my lotion and sat on my bed to apply it to my legs, arms, and any other areas that needed moisture.

Next, I looked through my closet, searching for something to wear to school. Once I found my outfit, I got dressed and styled my hair.

I added a black bow to my hair to finish my look. When I checked the time again, it was only 6:10 AM, which meant I still had some time to make breakfast.

Before heading downstairs, I spritzed on my Vanilla Pumpkin Waffles body mist from Bath & Body Works-it smells amazing!

After that, I grabbed my phone, earbuds, and charger, placing them all in my black cross-body purse. I also picked up my black glasses from the dresser and put them on.

Then, I grabbed my gray Nike mesh backpack and slung it over my shoulders. I headed downstairs into the kitchen to make something simple to eat.

I opened the fridge and retrieved a carton of eggs, bacon, cheese, and some strawberry jelly. I cooked the eggs, added cheese as they cooked, and also made some bacon. Once I was done, I grabbed two slices of bread and added the eggs, bacon, and jelly to make a sandwich.

Once I finished my breakfast, I sat down on the bar stool at the island counter and enjoyed my sandwich.

After I finished eating, I cleaned up and looked at the time on my phone; it was now 6:50. I then grabbed my keys from the key hook and walked out the door, locking it behind me.

I got in my car and drove to school. You might be wondering why I was going to school so early. It's because my favorite teacher arrived early, and I wanted to see her before school started so we could talk shi'.
