Reyna POV:
"What the hell, when did the hunters of artemis get here", I look to Frank for an explanation and I find him looking... guilty? ,"Did you know they were coming?", I growl, " We may have the same rank now Zhang but I still get to know when my cru-", I break off realising what I nearly said. I can feel my face heating but I try to ignore it, finishing instead with, "-My friends and the rest of the hunt are coming", He's smirking at me and he probably knows what I was going to say.
He had heard me whine about not seeing Thalia basically non stop since the hunters had left a couple of months ago. My crush wasn't exactly a secret around camp, I'd stopped liking Jason ages ago but then I met his sister Thalia Grace, which made me even more nervous that the hunters of Artemis were here. I tried to reassure myself that all of the campers were too frightened of me to share my crush but when the greek demigods arrived I knew I was screwed. There was no way my Greek friends wouldn't tell Thalia.
I walked out of my villa before quickly turning around to snap at Frank telling him to get out of my villa, he scurried out so fast he nearly tripped himself.
I walked over to where the hunt was setting up camp. Ever since Artemis had convinced Apollo to convince Will to convince Nico to convince Hades to allow Zoë out of elysium, Artemis and Zoë had been inseparable. Apparently they had been a thing before Zoë had died and now they were 'catching up', on what exactly was left unspoken, thankfully. Since those two were busy doing who knows what Thalia was telling everyone what to do and where to set up camp. She was a natural leader and she looked more beautiful than ever as she commanded the hunt to their tents to plan their next attack on the monster they were tracking.
Her spiky black hair was blowing in her face as the wind swept by and as she ran a hand threw her hair her electric blue eyes landed on mine. Are gazes locked for a minute and I thought I saw a faint pink tinge her usually pale cheeks, It was probably just the wind. She was wearing her trademark leather jacket and standing so confidently that it put my best power pose to shame. I watched as she walked over to me, I was trying not to stare, and failing.
"Hey Rey Rey ya miss me", she wraps an arm around my shoulder and rests her head on my shoulder sighing dramatically, "Who am I kidding, of course you missed me". I'm tempted to shove her off but she's right, I have missed her, no way am I letting her know that tho. I settle for looking into her dancing blue eyes and smirking, "I'm pretty sure you're the one who missed me considering you came to my camp and are currently clinging to me". She looks almost panicked, then she fumbles out the worst excuse about how they needed to gather supplies that I had just seen them unpacking.
"What are you two up to?", Jason says, grinning as he jogs up to us with his girlfriend Piper trailing behind him with a guilty smile. Thalia let's me go and walks over to them. Oh no what were they going to do. "I here Reyna has a new project", oh no oh no oh no, Thalia looks at her brother smirking at him, "What's the project", oh no oh no oh no oh no, the traitor looks at me with a smile that is dam right evil.
"Project Theyna", I glare at him before turning to Thalia, I'm about to come up with an excuse when I see she's grinning at me, "Project Theyna huh?, I can totally get behind that, in fact I think I have something that could help", Then she walks over to me and wraps her her arms around my neck and stares in my eyes, I stare back not daring to move. She pulls my face towards hers and kisses me softly, then she pulls back and presses her lips against my ear, "Did that help?", I can feel her breath on my neck and a shiver works its way down my spine. I drag her mouth back down to mine and for a minute everything is perfect. Until Jason decides to own that big mouth of his, "Will you two get a room, this sight is intoxicating, it's burning my eyes", I glare at him and I see Thalia doing the same.
"Why on earth would I get a room when I have a whole camp", I tell him smiling dangerously, I turn back to Thalia asking, "You know, hades gave us Zoë mabey we should give him someone back in return".
I know that was kind of short and it probably sucked but I tried
