Elizabeth's POV

It was later in the afternoon, i hadn't talk to my friends since this morning. It was the time a dreaded the most... Dinner. I walked into the great hall, there were my good for nothing friends. I decided to sit next to Neville and Ginny.

"Oh hey, looks like you're in for a surprise!" I was confused, Ginny hit him so I'm assuming this was about me.

"What surprise?"

"Nothing, he was talking about some plant again" Ginny responded.

"Right..."

Am I getting a surprise something? Is this why everyone is not talking to me? I'm going to have someone's blood on my hands if this is a prank!

All these thoughts ran through my head as I sat silently for the rest of dinner.

Ron's POV

After dinner, Hermione and Harry rushed me back to the common room.

Harry: It's time to ask her!

Those words made me go into shock, I was nervous about asking her to the dance...

Hermione: Don't be scared, she's your girlfriend! And she hasn't broken up with you yet

I nodded my head, we dim the lights in the common room, we lit some candles and I grabbed the sign, the plan was to bribe her with butterbeer if she didn't say yes which would be embarrassing because everyone is watching from the shadows!

Harry: She's here!

They ran to hide, I took a deep breath as I saw her walk in she stopped right at the door....

Liz's POV

I stood there shocked, what is going on...
I walked closer to Ron, he was standing there with a sign, his hair brushed back... looks like he cleaned up.

He cleared his throat, he was obviously nervous

"Will you go to the ball with me?" he said, he was oblivious nervous. I giggled at his cuteness, I couldn't stay mad at gingerbread man... not forever.

"Ok, I'll go to the dance with you... on one condition" Ron's eyes lit up, he looked at me as if telling me to continue

"You have to let me call you cinnamon boy" I giggle as I see his reaction, his face turns red, he shakes his head and chuckles

"Fine, only for the night"

"Deal" He walks over to me and wraps his arms around me, towering over me

The rest of the day went by normally, I was still kinda mad at everyone for ignoring me all day but a least they weren't anymore... right?
