Geonosis

Joseph stood in a large chamber, which had been hastily converted into a gymnasium. He was not alone, for other cadets had elected to take the training course. They all wore the white fitness garb that came in their lockers. He did not know any of them, with the exception of Broff, who dwarfed Joseph in size and strength. Racks lined with weights and staffs of varying shapes and sides stood off to the sides, along with many different types of exercise machines, from barbells to treadmills. Off to the far side of the gym was a shooting range, with targets made from reinforced plastoid, and a rack lined with stun blasters of varying sizes.

"And here I thought the armory for the Allies was big. Then again, what would become the United States of America didn't have this technology" Thought Joey thinking back to World War I.

At the center of the gym was a square mat, which served as a sparring ring. Before arriving to the gym, Joseph had spent most of his morning and afternoon beginning his other classes, and he had been looking forward to the combat sessions. "How much longer do you think she'll keep us waiting?" Broff asked Joseph, referring to Commander Tann, who ran these classes. "You're asking me?" Halna asked back. "Attention!" a voice then called out, and everyone gathered to stand in a group. The blue-skinned officer strode crisply over, wearing a black tank top and pair of leggings that failed to hide her shapely and athletic figure. She also wore a black leather belt around her waist, with the same cylindrical device Halna had saw on her the previous day. "There should be twenty of you. Stand in two lines of ten." she instructed, and the cadets scrambled to organize themselves. With a cold gaze in her glowing red eyes, she walked along her assembled students, studying them.

As she passed him, Joseph felt gooseflesh form across his skin; it felt like being scanned by a droid. "From now on, when I say 'attention', you assemble like this." Tann said as she walked, "And I expect you to remember that." She then stopped, standing before them. "Commanding a droid army requires a great deal of critical thinking, which is why the Admirals have you studying tactics and designs." she explained, "But what many tacticians forget is that the mind and the body are linked; you cannot truly improve the mind without physical exercise. Count Dooku has instructed me to not only prepare you for the responsibilities of being a military officer, but to prepare you for a war against the Jedi Order." Tann then stretched out her arm, her hand splayed out toward Broff. The Gran then was lifted off his feet, as if tethered by an invisible string. "What the?!" he exclaimed, flailing his arms and legs as the other cadets backed away, completely astonished.

Joseph: *[Sitting across a round table in front of the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic]* Thank you for arriving, umm. . I'm sorry what's your name?

"I am; Genarra." The Supreme Chancellor introduced. A female Jedi Master and Consular who served as the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and the leader of the Jedi Order during the New Sith Wars, circa 1032 BBY. Following her appointment as Chancellor, Genarra chose not to directly sponsor attacks against the Sith, the enemies of the Republic. However, she did not oppose the activities of Vannar Treece, a Jedi Master who organized expeditions into Sith space. Treece sent Genarra a number of reports, including one that detailed an upcoming mission to the Grumani sector.

By 1032 BBY, she was appointed as leader of both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic, being one of a series of Jedi to hold the position of Supreme Chancellor. During her rule, Genarra chose not to directly sponsor large-scale offensives against the Sith because she believed that the majority of the Republic's populace was fearful of Sith attacks and would not support plans to send large groups of Jedi Knights on campaigns in Sith space, rather than have the Jedi defend the Republic's frontiers.

Joseph: Let me guess. . . You came here via those portals.

Genarra: Yes. I was about to read a report sent by one of my Knights when suddenly. . I-

"That portal opened and took you here." Joseph inspected.

Genarra: I was at the Temple on Coruscant and read most of recent galactic events. This. . Clone War, that occurred. [Takes a deep breath] Devastating. Because of one man.

Joseph: Indeed. Look, I just want the Clone War to end so that we can focus on this new threat; the Sith. I fought in many wars, even that New Sith Wars where that. . . [Grudgingly] Senator proposed the Russan Reformations. But I don't think former Senator Valorum will stop you now. You should tell all the Jedi, especially Lord Hoth and Kong that they need to reform the Army of Light, rule planets like you should've. Wear that battle armor and most importantly: expand your military! I don't want you, your husband, my family or anyone to suffer the state date I did!

Genarra: [Calmly] I will, General. The Jedi will be strong. For the galaxy.

Joseph takes a breather. Feeling a little chocked up by the throat at hearing those legendary words of reform. "T-thank you." Joseph gets his phone to contact his slightly younger brother, but no answer. "Weird." He thought
