Taehyung sat in his office, lost in thought. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he had hurt Ruby's feelings. Despite his rudeness, she still seemed to care for him. He wondered why. As he gazed out the window, he spotted Ava walking towards her cabin. Without hesitation, he sprang up from his chair and made his way to her cabin. Upon reaching the cabin, he knocked gently and entered. Ava sat at her desk, arranging files. She glanced up at him, then returned to her task, ignoring him. Taehyung felt a pang of hesitation. Maybe this wasn't the best time to talk. He decided to wait until they were home. But Ava's expression softened as she looked up at him again. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked, concern etching her voice. Taehyung's eyes met hers, surprised by her empathy. "Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, his voice low. Ava's gaze lingered, as if sensing there was more to his story. "You can talk to me, you know," she said gently. Taehyung's heart swelled with gratitude. Maybe he could open up to Ava about Ruby. "Thanks, Ava," he said, his voice sincere. Ava nodded, returning to her files.
Taehyung walked back to his office, his mind still reeling with thoughts of Ruby. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he had hurt her deeply. Later that evening, Taehyung found himself sitting in the living room, Ava beside him. "Hey, Ava? Can I talk to you about something?" Taehyung asked, his voice low. Ava looked up from her book, concern etched on her face. "Of course, what's bothering you?" Taehyung took a deep breath. "It's about Ruby. She is safe." Ava's expression softened. "I know. After that day you locked your self. It really didn't look like you. So i went out to check myself."Ava recounted their conversation, leaving out no details. Taehyung listened attentively, his eyes never leaving her face. "I feel terrible, Ava. I didn't mean to hurt her," Taehyung said, his voice laced with regret. Ava placed a comforting hand on his arm. "You at least understood right, that's what matters. "
Taehyung's eyes met Ava's, a sense of understanding passing between them. "You think I should talk to her again?" Taehyung asked. Ava nodded. "If you feel that strongly about it, yes. Make amends, and see where it goes." Taehyung nodded, a sense of resolve forming within him.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Namjoon and Ruby sat in the conference room, surrounded by laptops, notes, and empty coffee cups. With two days left before the gala, they were finalizing their presentations.
The gala presented a high-stakes opportunity for top companies to showcase their groundbreaking projects, attracting vital investments, forging strategic alliances, and shaping the industry's future. As a platform for innovation and collaboration, the event drew elite attendees: investors, media, and visionaries. Each participating company, including SeoulScrapes, Quantum Infratech, TitanRoyce and others, would present their most promising projects, competing for recognition, funding, and partnerships. A compelling presentation could catapult a company to industry leadership, while a misstep could jeopardize its credibility. With reputations and fortunes on the line, Namjoon, Ruby, and their peers were racing against time to perfect their pitches. "Let's review the key points," Namjoon said, scanning the slides.Ruby nodded, her eyes scanning the data. "We need to highlight the project's scalability and environmental impact." As they worked, their focus remained on perfecting their pitch, anticipating questions from investors and media. "Are we covering all the essential features?" Ruby asked. Namjoon pointed to the screen. "I think we're missing a visual aid for the energy efficiency section." Ruby nodded, typing away. "I'll add a graphic." Their collaboration flowed seamlessly, each complementing the other's strengths.
Ruby added the graphic, and Namjoon reviewed the revised slide. "Perfect. Now, let's rehearse our delivery." They took turns practicing their pitches, offering constructive feedback. Ruby suggested simplifying a complex technical term, while Namjoon recommended emphasizing the project's market potential. Just as they were making progress, their team leader, burst in, looking concerned. "Namjoon sir, Ruby, I have some bad news. Quantum Infratech, under Jeon Jungkook's leadership, is launching a similar project at the gala." Namjoon's eyes narrowed. "What's the impact on our presentation?"
