Yeah this has been in my drafts for the longest period of time. I just edited it a little and renewed some stuff. I've been meaning to make a next gen au for years ever since I started watching MLP. Okay enjoy the little skit of their daily lives! (PS: this is in Equestria Girls)
Asteria Sentry's pov
I was waiting for my older brother to finish tidying up his bed so we could both walk down for breakfast. My brother and my cousin, Flurry Heart, goes to Crystal Prep, while I go to Canterlot High. Yeah, it's a little inconvenient that we go to a different school but can you blame us for having different interests? But we share one thing in common, we both love Equestrian magic. Back at home in Equestria, we'd perform the greatest spells there is! With the help of our aunt Starlight and her daughter Luster Dawn, we were an unbeatable match.
"Asteria, Nova!! C'mon you'll be late for school! Your mom won't be happy once she hears her kids are late on the first day." My dad yelled from downstairs.
"We're coming, daddy!!" I yelled back, no I don't mean 'yelling,' you know what I mean.
Finally my brother stepped out of his room looking so elegant in his uniform.
"You're late, now I'm late. Can't you speed things up? It's not like you're gonna win Luster's heart over with that slickback. It's like someone licked it..!" I tried reaching for his hair to fix it a little but her gently smacked it away.
"Don't even try, Steria." He glared at me. Surely he was my older brother because mom said he and dad have the same smirk and smile, not to mention dimples. I talk too much, take after my aunt.
Me and Nova walked down the stairs, I was wearing something chic but casual. Something practical but yet attractive. I dress like my mom and a little like my aunt Rarity's, yes both of them.
