Cold or flu season

Travis's pov
We wake up on the first full day at the cabin and I look next to me see Tay is already downstairs. I look over at Emmi and she looks like she's sweating and her hair is sticking to her face. Girlie come on time to wake up I say as a rub her cheek, and I can feel the heat radiating off her face. I put one on the back of her head and the other on the front of her forehead. Shit I mumble to myself. I grab Emmi and take her weighted blanket and bring her downstairs. Hey Tay I say, I don't think Emmi was just carsick yesterday on the way here, she's burning up. I tell Taylor. She comes over and checks her forehead and puts the thermometer in her ear. 100.2 yep she's got a fever she said. I take her over to the couch and lay next to her. Jason and Kylie came down with the girls. Is Emmi ok ? Asked Jason . No she has a fever , I don't think she was just carsick yesterday. I'm holding Emmi and she starts sneezing and coughing like crazy . She goes into a full on coughing fit.
Jason's pov
We come down with the girls and they are just playing with toys in the corner. Is Emmi ok? I ask Trav. He says she has fever and she was probably more than just carsick yesterday coming here. Girls let's go play outside I tell them. Kylie takes them outside. Em girlie have you eaten breakfast? I ask her rubbing her back and she just whines ams cuddles back in her blanket. How about you try some toast? Something light. Do I have to? She asks me. Yea girlie you do you need to fight this sickness off.
Travis's pov
Emmi come here I have your toast it's only one peice don't force yourself eat what you can.  She starts eating her toast but she swallows hard, does your throat hurt to swallow? I ask Emmi. Yes she said in tears. She starts coughing and dry heaving so I run her over to the trash can and held her hair back and rubbed her back. She starts puking and she pukes 2 times. You think you're done? She nods her head yes. I give her some medicine and lay down with her on my chest koala style. I rub her beach and tell her don't fight the sleep,sleep as long as we need. How is she doing ? Jason and Kylie ask after coming down from getting the girls down nap. I'm pretty sure she has the flu. Not even ten minutes later she wakes up breathing fast Jason brings the trash can over just as she starts throwing up and coughs it out. Breathe baby breathe. Taylor comes over with her stitch cup with water, take baby sips. She tells her. I'm going to shower. She tells me and I say ok and give her a quick kiss on the cheek. I'm going to bring her back up to our room so she can rest properly.
5 hours later
Travis's pov
Me and Emmi wake up and it's dark out ands it's dinner time . How are you feeling girlie. I feel her forehead it's still hot. Girlie we need to get you into a warm bath to get your fever down. Noooooo I don't want to. She whines. I'll be with you the whole time.ok fine she lets out a pout. After the bath I put her in a t shirt and shorts and blow dry her hair and pick her up and put her weighted blanket on her back and brought her downstairs. I sit her on my lap and turn on the tv and keep it low. How are you feeling girlie? I ask her , any better? Nooo she said. Try to eat dinner please since you slept through lunch. I'm scared to throw it up. She said. And if you do I'm right here. Ok I'll try. She eats half of her soup and pushes it away. I can't eat anymore I'm too scared to. She says crying. It's ok girlie your sick half of the soup is good enough and it will help your throat.
Taylor's pov
I hate when Emmi is sick because all I want is to take the sickness away. I am holding Emmi while she lays on the couch next to me under her weighted blanket until she falls asleep. I move off the couch carefully not to wake her. I start cleaning the cabin while Jason and Kylie get the girls ready for bed upstairs. Emmi stirs on the couch but goes back to sleep. Travis comes out of the shower and hugs me from behind. How was Emmi while I was in the shower? He asks me. I turned around to kiss him and tell him she fell asleep and is still asleep on the couch.
Travis's pov
I come out of the shower and go downstairs and see Tay cleaning up. How was she while I was in the shower? She tells me she fell asleep. I go to get her into bed but she wakes up as I get her in my arms. It's just me girlie, I got you, you're safe. I check her temperature and it's still 100.2 like it was earlier. So I take her upstairs and lay with her until we all fall asleep for the night.
