Lakshmi is a rich businesswoman who is Diya, a middle class girl's bestfriend. Lakshmi and Diya fell in love with Rishi, a rich businessman at the same time but Rishi's evil mother Neelam rejected Diya due to her status. Neelam got Lakshmi married to Rishi due to Lakshmi's status. However, after marriage....when Lakshmi's father was assumed to be dead....and a rival snatched away everything from Lakshmi....Neelam started hating Lakshmi. She called up her bestfriend Gita and planned to get her daughter, Malishka to get married to Rishi. Gita and Neelam planned to kill Lakshmi and created misunderstandings in between Rishi and Lakshmi but Rishi wasn't leaving Lakshmi until one day Neelam and Gita plotted an evil plan against Lakshmi and buried her alive when she was pregnant.

On the other hand....Diya got married to her and Lakhsmi's bestfriend Shakti, even after Ruhaan, Diya's lover proposed her. Diya broke Ruhaan's heart and forced him to marry her sister, Pari who loved Ruhan very much.

Meanwhile Neelam's plans to get Malishka married to Rishi busted when Lakshmi came back....a completely changed one who could stand up for herself and tell everyone's what's their place.

However, Diya gets curious wether this girl is either Lakshmi or not...because this is not the Lakshmi Diya knows.

Is this girl really Lakshmi? Or not? If not...then who is she? What's her motive and what does she wants? Will Rishi ever know his mother's truth? What will Malishka do now?
