"I can hear it" Tommy stated sharply.
"Shut up!" Felix yelled.
The cold breezed air flew past them. Chains could be heard crinkling through the wind. Tommy made a light movement. They both watched as the sky became a light shade of gold.
A dark figure ran past the trees and all the way to the other side of the dark forest line. Felix started to walk closer to the light. As he walked closer he heard low rustling growling. He stopped.
"Do you hear that?"
"Hear what"
Felix's face turn to a cold shade of white. Tommy stepped closer and he then saw something so tragically horrific.
"Felix!"
Tommy stared down at a dead body with ripped clothes and a grey pale face.
"Yes?" Felix grunted out.
Tommy turned towards Felix. He pointed at the grounds where the body is.
"What are you looking at?"
Tommy looked like he was trying to hold back a furry of anger. Tommy looked back at the body and it was gone.
"Whatever man! Stop messin" Felix said brushing his hand through his flowing fluffy hair. Felix turns around briefly.
"Tom..." He says scared and shocked. Tommy turns around and sees the body crawling around.
"We gotta go.. school starts in 2 minutes!" Both boys start sprinting through the forest. They keep running not taking a single look behind them.
As they get out of the forest they grab their bikes and start riding to school.
"That was crazy!" Felix says.
"Well just another day in my life." Tommy replied to Felix.
When they get to school they pause and hear the bell ring.
"Late again! My mom's gonna kill me!" Felix says.
"I dont understand why you cant just tell your parents that the monsters keep chasing after us."
Felix gives Tommy a look and walks inside.
As they go into class and sit down next to each other Felix looks mesmerized.
"Woah" Felix says"
"What do you mean 'woah'" Tommy says while looking at Felix.
"Who is that?" Felix replies as he looks at a girl with blond hair wearing a white skirt and a pink knitted top.
Tommy looks over at the girl and slaps the back of Felix's head.
Once the boys left school they went back to the forest. As they are walking into the forest Felix sees the girl from class walking with another girl. The other girl has brownish hair, she is wearing black leggings and a leather jacket.
"Tommy..." Felix says staring dearly into her eyes. Tommy looks at the girls.
"Hello...?" Tommy says.
"Hey...Tom right?" The blond haired girl asked.
"Yeah...Tommy." Tommy replies softly.
"And Im Felix" Felix almost yelled.
Tommy looks at the girls with a questioning look on his face.
"What are you girls doing here anyways?" The blond girls face darkens as Tommy asks them this.
The other girl steps up. "That's- We were taking a walk!" She proudly announced.
"Well it's dangerous...All alone here." Tommy explains.
"Yeah! You need guys like us to protect you!" Felix says trying to look cool.
Tommy hits his shoulder.
"Well we gotta go do homework." The brown haired girl says as she starts walking away from the forest.
The blond haired girl steps back but before she leaves she smiles and looks directly at Felix.
"My names Audrey by the way" She says still looking at Felix.
Both girls figures fade into the misty air as the boys watch them.
