Yogpets challenge - Fly high: part 2 - Hatching

It has been 4 weeks since I first found the egg, it still sits on the rather high shelf; alone. Its nightime, I should go to bed... "Michelle, I'm going to bed, see you in the morning." May yawned,

I agreed as the same thing was on my mind, "Ok, night."

"Night."

I slump up the stairs tired, we'd spent all day recording videos for our viewers, we are called Gamepals (Mine and my sisters IRL channel, currently inactive...), I open the door and land on my bed. Not bothering to get changed I lie on my bed looking around my room, next door I can hear May using Siri on her phone. Without warning I see the said egg move on the shelf, I'm shocked! I walk up to it, I swear I can see it gloing a faint lavander colour. I feel scared, what if its dangerous? The egg shakes and cracks, I back off; it continues to crack. I hear a squeek come from inside the shell of the said egg, yesterday I had rewatched the: 'Yogpet secret egg' video the yogscast did. I knew all the blood-lines and the types, however I don't know the egg patterns. The egg continues to crack and move, I want to help it but I stay put. More off the shell cracks and I begin to see tufts of wet and gooey hair, the colour is of a lavender kind. I hear more squeeks and squeels, then it bursts! The egg bursts! In its place is a purple/lavander coloured creature, it resembles that of a wolf and has big eyes.

"Y-your a yogpet! And if I'm not mistaken your from the Lomadia blood-line and are a... Lompup?"

The said creature squirms and wriggles. I lean down to the Lompup who giggles and bounces, I smile then say; "You need a name... how about, Twilight?"

The pup squeeks then hops into my arms, I hug it then I decide to show May.

Knocking on her door I hear a low grumble, "What?"

"May, unlock your door, look at this!" Its reminding me of when I told her about when I found the egg.

May unlocks the door then opens it, her face is neutral but then she looks down at Twilight and her face is shocked. "W-what i-is that!"

"Thats what I wanted to tell you!" She's still shocked, "You remember the egg? well... yeah."

"What?! so this, this is a..."

"A yogpet, yes."

Twilight wriggles then shuffles up to me, "She's called Twilight."

"She?" May questions,

"well its the Lomadia blood-line and it looks like a girl, don't you think so?"

May considers then says; "I guess so, ok but what are we going to do with her?"

"Keep her of course!"

She sighs then agrees, I'm so happy! Twilight will be safe with me I'm sure, it may not be a horse but I still love it!

Twilight is asleep in my arms, I never realised. I thought I should do research on it to find out what it eats and where it can sleep. I log on to the computer, Twilight is amused by it "You like that huh?"

"Rewuu!" It chirps,

I smile then log onto Yogscast.com, I scroll to the Yogpets section and begin to read. Picking out the bits that I need I scribble it down on a sheet of paper. Twilight nibbles the end of the pen when I set it down, "Hey, unless your getting anouther I suggest you leave it alone."

"reee?"

"I'll ree you in a minute," I giggle,

The yogpet backs of then realises it was a joke, "Breeeuuu!"

"So, you like lots of things to eat; Berries, carrots, some meats like chicken and Pork, bread, rice ect." I look at her, she squirms, "You like the outdoors and anywhere high and your a friendly and curious type. You element as such is air. is that right?"

"Reei?" Twilights confused but then cheers, "Rewrrrru! Yes!"

"Huh?! D-did you j-just say 'yes'?" I stutter,

"Yes, yes, yes!"

"I guess that's all you can say yet..." I pick her up then take her to bed, she cuddles up to me then we fall asleep.
