Why is raising a girl feel so much harder?
I believe it has something to do
with all the things as a mother
you may have to relive.
She will be more like you
than you will even realize.
Part of you will not like that.
She may hurt in the same ways you did hurt.
Don't fear telling her, I am sorry, and I understand.
Tell her you are allowed to be upset, and I understand.
Tell her I will do what I can to not hurt you aging.
Being a girl mama is the most wonderful challenge.
It will give you the opportunity
to be the person you wish you had around when you were a little girl.
Don't let the triggers stop you from being able to raise an amazing human!
