"Come on, little bro! You got this!" Davis called out to Ricarro, helping him jump over the crack in the ice. The cold air nipped at all their features that were revealed, distant sounds of otherworldly creatures and avalanches breaking the otherwise silent, almost peaceful, atmosphere that had set.

Lychee looked over to his 'brothers', a pang in his heart as he jumped over the ice, almost slipping and barely managing to hold on. The slippery ice's ragged side cut Lychee's thigh and he winced, unintentional claws coming out to grip the ice. He managed to haul himself up, going unnoticed. Typical.

He was freezing, his features numb to the point he could only focus on trying his hardest not to fall over. Maybe they'd get someone to notice him, he thought bitterly, discarding the idea from his mind.

"Careful.." Aparté's voice called out in the demon's mind. Lychee ignored it, the wind picking up, the icy weather interfering with the cut on his leg, drawing attention to it as the adrenaline rush wore off.

"Cal, Nad, you alright?" Lychee looked over as Xylo asked the duo, helping Cal across, Nad behind him, looking giant compared to the arguably normally sized son of Hades.

Lychee blocked out the voices as best he could, although Aparté's slipped through in his head. "You want it, don't you?"

"Want what?" Lychee replied in thought, sitting down and checking the cut, the cold air nipping worse at it, almost trying to freeze it, it felt.

"You want them to notice you more. You want a family," Aparté explained, knowing they were right, but wanting Lychee to admit it. Their demonic voice almost echoed, their tone almost.. caring. Almost.

Lychee stilled for a moment, letting the cold air bite at his rosy cheeks and crimson eyes that had seen too much, before replying. "And what if I do? What are you going to do about it?"

"Nothing. It's just pitiful, really," Aparté retorted, their voice taking on a more teasing tone now, no sympathy to be found. "After what you've been through. Would've thought you've given up on, well, family."

Lychee was just about to reply when Nero's voice cut through the air like a sharp blade cutting through flesh. "Are you ok?"

Lychee jumped, not thinking anyone noticed him, his heart rate speeding up, although he couldn't help but feel immensely disappointed as he saw Nero. He wasn't ungrateful, but he just felt like Nero and Dranne were the only people who cared about him. "Huh? Oh- yeah, I'm fine."

Nero hummed, taking a seat in front of Lychee, prodding his hurt thigh, causing him to stifle a wince. "Oh? Because your thigh is bleeding and, judging how cold your temperature is, you managed to cut it on a ragged spike of ice."

'Lovely.' Lychee grimaced, the wind picking up, blowing his fluffy white hair into his face slightly as he used his freezing fingers to move it. "It's fine, just a little scrape."

Nero narrowed their eyes, about to say something when Xylo called out; "You two coming?"

Nero sighed, flying up and heading over, leaving Lychee with his thoughts for a second. Lychee, being him, pushed the thoughts away completely, standing up and walking with a slight limp towards the others.
