Daphne sat on the same swing set, swaying back and forth watching the waves crash onto land.
"You're pretty famous now kid." the familiar raspy voice came from behind her. Dabi walked up and sat in the seat next to her.
"Is this gonna become a regular thing?" Daphne didn't look away already knowing who it was.
Dabi only shrugged, swaying in the seat with her. He began asking a few questions about the attack, wondering if the villains were weak or not or if she was scared. Daphne scoffed whenever he asked that one, of course she wasn't. The two talked some more, getting to know each other little by little.
"What is your...favorite tv show?" Daphne waved her hands around, running out of questions to ask.
"wasn't allowed to watch tv." He shrugged his shoulder answering her question.
"What?! why not?!" Daphne quickly turned her head to face him, shocked by his answer.
"My father never allowed me..." He played it off making it seem like it was not a big deal.
"wow, thats far even for endeavor..." she was trying to make a joke but didn't realize the nerve she had hit. She didn't react in time, dabi's hand wrapped around her neck lifting her into the air.
"Answer before I incinerate you..." his tone got more aggressive as his grip got tighter. His hands slowly heated up, making it just hot enough to slightly burn her skin.
"Your...eyes..." Daphne struggled to speak out. Dabi threw her to the ground and leaving right after. Daphne grabbed her throat while coughing a few time. Taking a few deep breaths as she got back up off the floor.
When she finally regained herself she looked around seeing if he was nearby. Daphne went back home, finding her hidden med box and bandaging her neck. Dabi had left a slight mark, either the burn or the grip. She couldn't tell, just hoped no one at school would ask anything.

School was back open, all the kids from 1-A going back to their usual schedule. They were all in class, some talking about how they were recognized from tv or making scenarios about what would've happened.
"Alright everyone sit down!" Iida yelled ordering everyone around.
"Says the only one standing up..." Daphne waved her hand around, making fun of Iida.
Some of the other students added on, calling him out as well. Iida sat down in his seat sulking. The door then slid open, revealing Aizawa wrapped in bandages from nearly head to toe. He stood in the front of the classroom telling the class that the battle wasn't over yet all mysteriously. Some of the students stiffened, wondering what their teacher was talking about.
"The UA sport festival is coming up..." they all sighed in relief, immediately cheering.
Kaminari stopped kirshimas cheering, which paused the others. He asked Aizawa if they should still keep it open. The teacher told them it was going to be fine, telling them a few more details about it. Everyone split into a few different groups, bakugo and daphne being the only few who weren't talking to anyone else. Daphne looked back, quirking her brow when she heard uraraka screaming at everyone in the back of the classroom. Then lunch came around and Daphne went with Midoriya, Iida and Uraraka joining them.
"You're doing it for the money?" Iida questioned Uraraka as they all walked down the hall to the cafeteria.
"That's so real." Daphne added one. Uraraka was scratching the back of her head trying to not feel so guilty about it. She started explaining her life story but was interrupted by All might.
