INTRODUCTION:
It was good for Soren to be back in the city from where he was originally from but now, as a young adult who was getting his first bites of fame and recognition with his band. They were ready to perform at The Birmingham Odeon as a part of their first tour, but unexpectedly problems with the lighting of the venue came up at the last minute during the rehearsal. They needed a place to rehearse and Soren knew the perfect spot for it.
As soon as he arrived at the place, he took a deep breath filled with nostalgia and pride, and pushed the door. It was empty since it was early in the morning, but he knew they were already there, so he went right into the office of the owners, with whom he was very close from years and years before frequenting the club and getting to discover new music and having a good time. He knocked the door, while opening it, peeking his head in with a smile. Michael and Paul got up from their desks, greeting him with big smiles.
"Man! What are you doing here?", Paul said.
"I thought you were going to be so busy with your band to even think of paying a visit 'round the place.", Michael pointed out.
"Don't say that!" Soren responded, giving each one a hug. "There's always time for the Rum Runner."
Michael offered him a seat on a sofa and water, which Soren gladly accepted. "You're playing tonight at the Odeon, right?"
