After some time, when Arjun calmed down, he got up from her lap and sat down. They both sat there, leaning against the bed.

He stayed quiet for a while, and then finally looked at her.

"Are you sure you want to know everything? Because after knowing the truth, the way you see the person you love the most might completely change."

She didn't understand what he meant when he said that.'The way I see the person I love will change?'

"I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. No matter how painful the truth is, I want to know." She said to him.

He took a deep breath, nodded, and started telling his story.

"Like most kids, my only wish was to live happily with my family, mom and dad. I don't remember much, but as far as I can remember, it was just me and my mother. My so-called dad, Shaurya Singh Rathore, was never really part of our family. Maybe he was, but he wasn't with us. Even though my dad was alive, everything a father should do was done by my mom. From attending my parent-teacher meetings to teaching me things, my mom did it all. My mom was the one who did everything for me, and my dad was never there."

He paused and continued, "He was like a guest in our house. He came home at night, had dinner with us, and left early in the morning. Even during festivals, he was only with us for a short time. Despite all of this, my mom never complained. She kept doing everything happily, managing her responsibilities and his as well, because for Shaurya Singh Rathore, work was the only thing that mattered. He didn't care about anything else, his wife, not his son. His work was everything to him.
Even after all this, my mom loved him so much. I don't know how, but she did. I saw it myself. But for me, my mom was my whole world. She was my mother, my father, my friend, my teacher- everything. At first, my dad not being around hurt me, but over time, I got used to it. My mom and I were enough for each other, and we were happy."

As he said this, a lone tear fell from his eye, and he wiped it away.

"My mom had a college friend who used to visit us often. I used to like him. I always looked forward to his visits because he brought me chocolates and was very affectionate. He was like family to us, but my mom never thought that this family friend would one day become the reason for her destruction."

When Arjun said this, Siya felt something strange something wrong.

"One day, that same friend of my mom came to our house. He was looking really upset that day. He started talking to my mom, and at the time, I didn't know what was happening. Later, I found out he was asking my mom for a lot of money, but my mom refused. She never did anything without telling my dad, and my dad didn't like her friend at all. So, my mom clearly said no, and maybe that was her biggest mistake. That day, her best friend became her worst enemy."

As Arjun said this, he looked into her eyes before continuing his story.

"Like every other day, it started as a normal evening. He came to our house. My mom thought he might still be upset, so she apologized to him, and he seemed to forgive her thoughts. That day, there was no staff at home except for Mira. While we were having dinner, I noticed something strange: my mom suddenly fell asleep at the dining table. I tried to wake her up, but the uncle said she was probably just tired and that he would take her to her room. He told me to go to bed. I didn't think much of it and went to my room to sleep. As I was leaving, I saw him take my mom to her room and close the door behind him as he went inside with her."
