[3RD POV, BEFORE THE EXAMINATION]
╰┈➤ "What do you plan with her, Oyakata-sama? Examination during the day is not our way" Gyomei asked. The hashiras were having a meeting with the master, discussing about the plan for Y/n. Of course, Sanemi was there to make sure that the plan will benefit Y/n.

"Y/n is a special child. She has the blood of my anscentors flowing inside of her. However, she also has a deep relationship with our nemesis, Muzan" Kagaya explain, making him cough a bit of blood.

"I cannot accept her as a demon slayer. She's in a relationship with Muzan! This is unacceptable. She should be killed and die in a painful way" Said Iguro.

"Shut up, Iguro, before I beat the shit out of you!! Let Master continue his words, you dipshit!" Snapped Sanemi. Iguro, enraged with Sanemi's comment, replied "Are you defending this woman?! How bizarre of you. Don't tell you had already fallen heads-over-heels for her. Disgusting!"

"Silence!" Yelled Gyomei as he clapped his hands, "Listen to what Master has to say first" he added.

"Thank you for that, Gyomei. As I was saying, Y/n will be taking a special examination during the day to test her strength and durability until night time"

"That's it? She won't need to fight any demons!?" Sanemi asked, relief that Y/n will be far from danger. "Why are you even happy? She'll be the weakest among demon slayers" spatted Iguro.

"What did you say!?" Sanemi stood up and grabbed Iguro by his uniform collar, ready to beat the shit out of Iguro.

"Sit down, Iguro and Sanemi! You're disrespecting Oyakata-sama!" Yelled Mitsuri.

"It's alright, Mitsuri, thank you. To continue what I had stated, yes Y/n will not fight any demons, however you hashiras will"

"Y/n will be staying in a small house in the Mt. Takao where she will be taking the examination" Kagaya continued.

"Then how is that an examination if she'll just stay there and do nothing?" Asked Sanemi.

"Have you heard about the massacre in the West town? Every single woman who lived there were consumed by a demon. A high ranked. And Mt. Takao is near that town"

"So you're using Y/n as bait to lure that high ranked demon out!?! But aren't you just making her a sacrifice?!" Sanemi yelled, "Sanemi, that is not how you should talk to Master" Gyomei replied.

"No. Y/n will not die. A high ranked demon has a greater blood from Muzan, meaning they are closer to him. Knowing the relationship between Y/n and Muzan..Muzan will most likely be the one who will take the bait"

"I can't. I can't accept this, Oyakata-sama! Why are we using her as a bait! Why her!? Why can't you just use a different woman!?"

"Don't you understand the situation here, Sanemi? Y/n is the closest to Muzan than any other demons he had created! This could be our only chance to annihilate him!" Uzui replied.

"I agree. Whatever your relationship was with Y/n, disregard that. You're a hashira, your priority is to kill demons" Rengoku lowly replied.

"But Y/n did not deserve this! Sh-She was just manipulated and used by Muzan! And you're doing the same thing with her!"

"Sanemi, calm down. Don't you hear what you're saying?" Gyomei said. "Sanemi, are you Inlove with Y/n?" Mitsuri giggled, making Sanemi turn red.

"I-I...uhm. Sh-Shut up! Y/n and I are close, I-I just don't want to see her struggle" Sanemi mumbled, making everyone laugh.
