Y/n's POV:

I walked into my closet trying to find a dress for the party that Tony was throwing in a couple of hours. "I still don't understand why I have to go to this party." I grumbled. "Because you are an Avenger, and you have to make an appearance." Natasha called out from where she was sitting on my bed. "He has these parties every other week. I'm sure I can skip one." I say while looking at my dresses. While I was looking, I could hear a knock on my door. "Who is it?" I asked Natasha. "It's your dad." She said. I poked my head out from the closet to see that Clint was there. "Hey dad. What are you doing here?" I asked. "Just wanted to see what you were going to wear to the party." He said. I turned back to the closet. "I don't even know what I want to wear." I groaned. After a few more minutes, I found a nice red dress. It went a little above my knees, but I still liked it regardless. "What about this one?" I asked before showing it to Natasha and Clint. "I think it looks cute." Natasha said. "Honestly, it's better than the dress you wore when Tony threw you a sweet sixteen birthday party." Clint said. I laughed slightly. "I actually really liked that dress." I tell him. I watched as he shook his head. "Anyways, don't tell your mother, but you can have one drink tonight at the party." He tells me. "Oh?" I say excitedly. "Just one." Clint says. "I'm working the bar tonight." Natasha added. I nodded my head as I went into the closet and put the dress on. Once I fixed it slightly, I walked out to show Natasha and Clint. "You look great." Natasha tells me. I smiled at that. "Jesus, you're getting too old." I hear Clint say before he comes over and gives me a hug. "You need to stop growing up. I mean, you're almost an adult." He tells me. "That means you are getting old too dad." I joked. I feel him slightly hit the back of my head and I started to laugh. "Alright you two." I hear Natasha say. "I still have to do her hair and makeup Clint, so you should head out. We'll see you at the party." She tells him. I watch as he headed towards the door and left. After an hour, we finally finished my hair and makeup. "You look beautiful Y/n." Natasha says. I went over to my mirror and looked at myself. "I love it." I say before turning to Natasha. "Can you pass me my phone? I want to take a picture and send it to mom." I say. I watched as she grabbed it and handed it to me. I took a picture and sent it to mom. "We should head down to the main floor. God knows Tony will throw a fit if we aren't down there on time." Natasha said before grabbing her phone. We headed over to the elevator before getting in. "Whenever you want to get that drink, just come over to the bar and I'll make it." She tells me. I nodded my head as we arrived on the main floor. I saw a large amount of people that were already at the party. "Where are you heading to?" Natasha asks as we stepped out of the elevator. "Probably over to where Steve is. I'd rather stick by him." I tell her. "Smart idea. I'll see you around then." She says before heading over to the bar. I walked through the crowd before I spotted Steve standing next to someone as they were playing pool. I walked over to the two of them. "Hey Steve." I say. He looks over at me. "Hey kiddo." He says. "Who's your friend?" I asked. "This is Sam. He helped me and Natasha when SHIELD fell." He explained. "Nice to meet you Sam, I'm Y/n." I say before shaking his hand. "Nice to meet you too." He said. "What is it you do?" I asked him. "I'm a retired Pararescue for the Air Force." I nodded my head. "Must be nice to be out, huh?" I asked him. I talked with Sam and Steve for a while before the party started to die down. I excused myself before heading over to the bar where Natasha was. "You want that drink now?" She asked me. "Fuck yes. I'm over this party." I tell her. She laughed slightly. "I don't blame you." She said before handing me this pink colored drink. "It looks like it'll be fruity." I say before taking a sip of the drink. I coughed slightly. "Fuck that's strong." I say. I hear her laugh again. "But it's good, right?" She said. I nodded my head before taking another sip. I watched as the rest of the people started to leave and how the guys started to circle around a table on the floor. "Who let you drink?" I hear a voice ask me. I looked up to see Maria standing next to me. "Dad did." I say. "Really? I'm shocked considering how he reacted to you drinking during your sweet sixteen." She brings up. "You and me both." I say before taking the last sip of the drink. "We should head over with the guys before they start an argument or something."
