We pulled up to a house around seven-thirty. Jason entered a code into the gate we were sitting at. " Fancy" I nodded approvingly. The gate doors separated and Jason started up the driveway. As we pulled closer, we could hear the loud thumping of music coming from the inside house. People were talking and laughing in the front yard. Some even looked to be wasted already. Jason parked the car with the others, and we all got out and made our way to the front of the house. Jason knocked on the door, and a guy with blonde hair answered. He was about 6'0 and wore a slightly fitted shirt. He eyed my sister and me.
"Jason," The guy exclaimed. He clasped Jason's hand and pulled him into a hug. " Who are these two..." He glanced at me and T again. " Sexy... ladies?" He finally finished. I rolled my eyes, and T scoffed. Who in the hell did he think he was?
" Back off Monty," Jason warned. Monty raised both of his hands into the air and stepped back to let us in. We walked into the house, and I looked around biting my lip. There were so many people here. My heart started beating faster, and I felt Jason put his hand on the small of my back. He gave me a worried look because I was starting to get uncomfortable. " It'll be okay," He said to me softly. " Just try to have fun, Nick."
I took his advice. I grabbed myself a drink and danced in the middle of the living room with my sister. That only lasted a few minutes before a guy grabbed her and started dancing. At first, she was uncomfortable. A side of me wanted to stop him, but I knew she would ask me for help if she really was problemed by it. She soon gave me a look of reassurance and I backed off. We had been at the party for an hour already, and I realized that I hadn't seen Jason for the last thirty minutes.
I searched for him and found him playing beer pong with a few guys in the kitchen, so I decided to not bother him. He was having fun, and I did not want to worry him. I decided to go sit on the stairs to chill until they were ready to leave. I glanced around the room while pulling out my phone. The music was loud. My head was starting to hurt. And most importantly, my social battery was depleted.
An hour or two passed, and after 4 more strong drinks, I needed to use the bathroom. I wanted to go find the host to ask him where it was, but I did not feel like pushing my way through people. Fuck it. I'll go find it myself. I made my way up the stairs and started looking through the doors. The first door I opened had a couple making out wildly. The woman was straddling her man with her shirt off. She paused to look at me without covering herself up. " Take a picture, it'll last longer." She snarked after a few minutes of silence. I chose to not respond and closed the door. What is wrong with people? I wiped my face inhaling slowly. I cannot believe I just saw that.
I moved on down the hall and found an empty room. The room was clean and smelled like a vanilla forest. It held a king bed draped in a black comforter accompanied by black throw pillows to match. A bookshelf sat opposite the bed filled to the brim with books. A desk and computer sat next to it. The soft glow of the screen saver illuminated the room a bit. I was about to close it, but then I noticed a bathroom on the other side. I could run in there, but it would be wrong. I'm sure that there is another bathroom I could use. But it would not take me long. I rushed to the bathroom closing the door behind me. It honestly would not take me long to get in and be out. I looked at the items on the counter. Wood Musk deodorant? I asked myself. What kind of scent is that. I smirked to myself.
After washing my hands, I opened the door and froze. A guy sat on the once-empty bed. He did not notice that I was in there. Before I could say anything, Monty opened the door. " Hey, Tyson..." He trailed off after noticing me standing in the bathroom doorway. " Oh. Sorry. I didn't you had... uhh.. company?" Monty questioned closing the door. Ohhhh, Fuck me. I wished he hadn't done that, since it now left me awkwardly standing in his room trying to figure out a way to explain why I was even in there.
"Sorry... " I said softly. " I just had to use the bathroom. I didn't mean to intrude. I'll leave." I fumbled out. I took steps toward the door.
" It's okay. " He spoke. His voice sent shivers down my spine. I paused looking back at him. He was now staring at me. I was afraid of embarrassing myself again. Why is he staring at me like that? I broke eye contact with him. He is so fucking weird. I thought to myself reaching for the door handle again. "Wait" I looked back at him again. "I saw you earlier on the stairs." I squinted my eyes. Was he watching and following me?
"I didn't follow you... and this my room you are intruding." He said raising his eyebrow.
" Intruding?" I scoffed. " I only came to use the restroom. Now, I'm leaving" I turned and opened the door again. The dude definitely is a creep. I jumped back when the door was closed again. I let go of the door turning to look up at him. He stood over me with his hand pressed to the door.
" Look, I figured you weren't a party person, and you came to hide in a room. I saw a dude following you upstairs, so I followed you to my room and waited for you to come out. I promise I am not trying to creep on you." He explained.
" Oh.. well thank you." I bit my lip. I don't know if I believe him or not. He seemed genuine.
"You can chill in here until you and you're friends leave if you came with any." He turned walking towards the bed again. I don't want to go back out there. Especially if that guy he said was creeping on me is out there. I guess it wouldn't hurt. Besides, If anything happened to me, I am more than capable of beating his ass. Trust me. I sat at the edge of his bed pulling out my phone again. He was looking at me. I glance at him with a raised brow.
" I never got your name." He said. I told him and he hummed. "Tyson" he returned. Tyson. I thought. We stared at each other for a while. I don't know why, but I liked the way he looked at me. He looked at my lips before looking at me again. I blushed a little turning away. He can win that eye-staring contest. I swiped through my phone again.
I felt him shift towards me. He lightly grabs my phone and places it in the small space between us. Why is he so close to me? I asked myself. He moved even closer placing his hand under my chin. My body started to tingle. Was the alcohol kicking in more? He leaned in. "Your eyes are beautiful" He spoke softly. I blushed harder. Is he hitting on me? I don't know how the fuck I got here... But I like it. I leaned in a little closer glancing at his lips. I don't know if it's the alcohol in me that's clouding my judgment, but I wonder how they would feel against mine. Answering my question, he closed the space between us.
The kiss was soft and slow. There was a slight smell of alcohol on his breath clashing with mine as our lips moved around one another's. He moved his hand from my chin to the small of my back pulling me closer to him. I started to feel warm, and my mind started to clear. His lips were soft against mine. His tongue slid out rubbing against my bottom lip as if he was asking for permission to enter. I parted my lips, moaning slightly as his tongue slipped into my mouth.
Brrr... I jumped back as my phone rang. I Jumped away from him glancing at my phone. What is wrong with me?
