Eira's eyes fluttered open, greeting the familiar ceiling of her small apartment. Another ordinary day. She stretched, yawned, and swung her legs over the side of the bed.

As she dressed, her mind wandered to the strange dreams that had plagued her lately. Vivid images of ancient forests, whispering voices, and an eerie feeling of being watched.

Eira headed to her part-time job at the local bookstore. The aroma of old pages and freshly brewed coffee comforted her.

Eira smiled, exchanging pleasantries as they opened the store.

"Shake it off," he muttered, focusing on the lunch rush.

As the day unfolded, Eira and Arin remained oblivious to their shared heritage and the supernatural world hiding in plain sight.
