Love, a beautiful feeling, a feeling that makes you complete even if you're not surrounded by a crowd but just a couple of your loved ones.

The same is the story of two individuals, Vineet and Ruhana. In this wide world, they are their only family, bonded with love. Ruhana, whose parents died many years back in a car accident leaving her alone and shattered while Vineet was an orphan, brought up in an orphanage. They both had craved for love, someone to love and feel love and destiny did justice to them by bringing them together to share what they both crave for, to bring their broken pieces together and heal each other. And they did, heal, love and hold on to each other.

And after what feels like ages, the day has come, the day that feels like a dream but it is the biggest reality of their life and it's happening, swelling their hearts with emotions.

Vineet stood at the altar, his heart racing faster than the investigations he’d led as a CID officer. He glanced at the guests seated in the sprawling garden, their chatter blending with the soft evening breeze. But amidst the faces, he only searched for one—Ruhana’s.

After six years of dating, their journey was culminating in this moment. They had weathered challenges that would have tested even the most committed couples. Vineet’s erratic hours and Ruhana’s demanding job at a multinational corporation had forced them to adapt, often stealing time between work trips and long nights. But every stolen glance, every late-night call, only strengthened their bond.

As the music shifted, signaling Ruhana’s entrance, Vineet’s breath caught in his throat. There she was, gliding down the aisle in a simple yet elegant white gown, her eyes glowing with a mix of excitement and nerves. For a moment, he was transported back to the day they first met—at a friend’s party. Ruhana had been standing by the window, a quiet observer of the crowd. Her grace had drawn him in, and by the end of the night, he knew he had to know her better.

Ruhana, walking toward Vineet, felt her heart pound in rhythm with her steps. Six years had passed in what felt like the blink of an eye. From their first date at a cozy café to the late-night conversations about their dreams and fears, she had seen Vineet’s relentless dedication to his work. Despite his tough exterior as an officer, he had always shown her his gentler side—whether it was surprising her after a tough day at the office or staying up late just to listen to her vent.

As she reached Vineet, her hand slid into his, and the world around them faded away. The officiant began speaking, but the words barely registered. All Ruhana could focus on was the man standing beside her—the man who had once, in the middle of a high-stakes case, dropped everything to be by her side when she needed him. The man who loves her unconditionally, the man who agrees to whatever she says, the man who remember even the smallest of her details, the man who agreed to name their relationship on her mother's birthday, the way she wanted. Yes, he's her man - her Prince Charming! Who might not have a castle but his heart is of a king and it beats for her, only for her!

“I promise to stand by you, no matter what life throws our way,” Ruhana said softly when it was her turn to speak. Her voice wavered for just a second, overcome by emotion. “You’ve shown me what love and loyalty mean, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Vineet’s eyes glistened as he responded, his usually firm voice filled with emotion. “I’ve faced many challenges in my life, but the best decision I ever made was asking you to be a part of it. You’ve kept me grounded, and I promise I’ll always protect you, no matter what.”

The ceremony concluded with applause, but Vineet and Ruhana remained locked in their own world, hands intertwined, gazing at each other as though no one else existed. The journey ahead, full of unpredictable work schedules and new responsibilities, didn’t faze them. They had each other, and that was all that mattered.
