Hello to everyone who has stumbled upon this work and has been kind enough to open the first chapter, I genuinely hope that you enjoy this story <3<3<3
Before I start I want to clear a few things up. This first of all is a very impulsive project, my exams got over and I suddenly had nothing to do so one one morning I decided to bring this story to life. I had to take a course in college where we discussed Indian epics, Mahabharat taking a major chunk of it and it resurrected my interest in the epic and especially in Karna. I looked everywhere on multiple platforms to find a story that would satisfy me but failed miserably, I even tried reading The Palace of Illusions by Chitra Banerjee but was honestly disappointed. So here I am trying to write an entire fanfic with no prior experience in any kind of creative writing
Coming to the objective of this note. I realllyyyy want to keep this story as historically accurate as possible, however, it won't be true to its original source for the plot. I will take a LOT of creative liberty with the age of Characters for the sake of not making their relationship weird. As the story progresses their personality might become drastically different from Vyasa's version, let's not forget that this is purely out of my imagination and has nothing to do with the epic. My intentions are not to hurt anyone's religious sentiment, if you feel offended then please consider closing this app. Do not write bullshit in the comments it will not be tolerated!!!
Lastly, I would like to thank my teachers who basically forced me to take an interest in this epic and texts like Panchtantra and I will never forget their words "No story can be told the same way twice" so this is my teenage girl take on the most revered epic of this country.
