All those years of suppressed anger came to surface as Jungkook reached Taehyung's mansion. With nothing but pure hatred he barged inside taking a oath to kill Taehyung in the cruellest way possible
The mansion was eerily quiet, nestled on the outskirts of the city. Its grand marble columns and sprawling gardens were now a shadow of their former elegance, haunted by the bloodshed that had come to claim it. Inside, the air was thick with tension, thick enough to cut with a knife. The faint sound of footsteps echoed through the empty hallways as Jeon Jungkook made his way through the mansion, his mind consumed by rage and betrayal.
He had believed Y/N was gone forever-taken by Taehyung, the man who had orchestrated a thousand dark schemes-but now, he was here to make Taehyung pay.
With a swift motion, Jungkook kicked open the grand double doors that led into Taehyung's private study. His eyes scanned the room, searching for the man who had caused so much pain. The room was dim, the only light coming from a chandelier high above, casting long shadows across the furniture.
There, sitting in a leather chair by the window, Taehyung appeared unfazed. His eyes were calm, almost detached, as he lazily took a sip from a crystal glass, the amber liquid swirling inside."You came," Taehyung's voice broke the silence, smooth as silk but laced with an undercurrent of amusement. "I knew you would eventually, Jungkook. You always were predictable."
Jungkook's eyes blazed with fury, his fists clenched at his sides. "You think this is a joke?!" he spat, stepping forward, his voice low and dangerous. "You took her from me. You killed Y/N."
Taehyung's expression remained calm, though a flicker of something-something unreadable-passed through his eyes. He set the glass down slowly and rose to his feet, his movements deliberate, like a predator preparing for a hunt."Do you hear yourself?" Taehyung said, his voice almost soothing, but with an edge. "You still think she's dead? Maybe you should check your sources better. If you had done that, you'd know I had nothing to do with her disappearance."
Jungkook's heart skipped a beat at the words. His grip on his gun tightened, but the anger clouded his judgment. His mind had already made up the story, and the pain was too overwhelming to process anything else.
"You're lying!" Jungkook shouted, his hand shaking with rage. "I'll make you pay for what you've done."
Without another word, he charged, his gun raised, and fired.
The first shot echoed through the mansion, but Taehyung was already moving. A blur of motion, he darted to the side, narrowly dodging the bullet that missed by inches. The sound of gunfire ricocheted off the walls as Taehyung's hand moved swiftly, pulling out a sleek black pistol from under his jacket.
"Such violence, Jungkook," Taehyung's voice was a taunt as he fired back, the shot missing Jungkook but grazing the side of his jacket. "You're so blinded by rage you can't see what's in front of you."
Jungkook roared and dove behind the marble pillars, using them as cover. The gunfire continued to rip through the air, each shot more calculated than the last. He could hear Taehyung's footsteps, the soft click of his shoes as he moved with precision, stalking him like a predator.
"I don't need to lie to you, Jungkook," Taehyung said, his voice smooth as velvet but cutting through the tension like a knife. "If Y/N were dead, don't you think you would've found her body by now? Think about it. If I wanted her gone, she would be."
Jungkook's mind was racing, but his heart was still pounding with anger. He refused to believe Taehyung's words. "You won't get away with this," he growled. "I'll tear this place down to find her."Another shot rang out, narrowly missing Jungkook's shoulder as he ducked behind the pillar. He was breathing heavily now, every instinct telling him to charge forward, but the reality was different. He was up against a man who knew every inch of this mansion, every corner, every shadow. Taehyung was prepared for this.
From behind his cover, Jungkook finally spoke, his voice raw with frustration. "Where is she, Taehyung? Where the hell is she?"
Taehyung's smirk never faltered. He was still standing in the center of the room, his gun aimed low, but his posture relaxed as if he were toying with Jungkook."you're too blinded by your emotions to see that. He said.
Suddenly, Taehyung vanished into the shadows, his presence dissipating like smoke. Jungkook's eyes darted around the room, scanning every corner, every door. The mansion, once a symbol of Taehyung's dominance, now felt like a maze of endless traps.
Before Jungkook could react, a blinding flash of movement cut through the air. Taehyung reappeared behind him, his hand firmly gripping a thick rope. With a swift motion, he wrapped it around Jungkook's wrist, pulling him back toward the center of the room.
"Too slow," Taehyung whispered in his ear, his breath cold against Jungkook's skin.
Jungkook struggled, trying to break free, but the more he fought, the tighter the rope became. Taehyung was faster, his movements almost too fluid, too precise.
And then, just like that, Taehyung was gone. The rope slackened, and when Jungkook turned, his enemy had already vanished into the darkness, slipping through a hidden passage.
Jungkook, his chest heaving with exhaustion and frustration, slammed his fist into the marble floor. The mansion was silent once again, the fight over-at least for now.But as Jungkook stood alone in the empty room, the bitter realization set in. He had come to kill Taehyung, but instead, Taehyung had escaped yet again. And in the midst of the chaos, Jungkook realized the truth that he'd been unwilling to accept.
Y/N wasn't dead. And this war-this vendetta-was far from over.
