House Darkmore had heard that the king along with his court were coming to the north to see Lord Eddard Stark.

And house Darkmore was not pleased by the visit but the only thing they needed to do was wait.

Because Lord Cade Darkmore had left the castle to make his way to the Stark's to discuss about certain plans. Cade wanted to arrive in Winter fell before King Robert Baratheon arrived.

Cade was able to so and he was able to speak with Eddard Stark, both men spoke about certain matters at hand. Both of them came to an agreement with needed to be done, and they were able finish it up before Robert Baratheon arrived.

For Cade though, he stayed in the shadows when Robert arrived. Cade made his way back to his home where he spoke to his wife. Cade and the others knew that they needed the Stark's on their side before they could do anything.

But Cade knew that they needed the Baratheon's or the Lannisters to make the first move. So Cade along with his son started to gather their army together, Cade wanted to be ready for it all.

Meanwhile in the home of the Stark's, all were having a good time. Sansa was spending time with Prince Joffrey Baratheon time to time.

But things took a turn when Robert Baratheon offered Eddard about marriage between their houses. That Prince Joffrey would marry Sansa, at first Eddard was shocked by it but then he thought about the plans he made with Cade.

At first glance Eddard knew that the royal children did not belong to Robert, but also Eddard had heard from others that Robert never acted like a king should.

Eddard knew in that moment being in the crypts that he was going to side with Cade and his family.

Because he knew that they have the better claim to it since all knew about Lady Celestine being the last child of the mad king.

Eddard agreed to the offer that Robert had made but he would speak with his daughter Sansa and Arya about what they needed to do when they step into the city.
