This requiem story unravels around a boy named Levi, undying willed and ambitious, but not arrogant. He was only 15 when his story started, not knowing that he'll play a vital role in all of Dark'ar.

Chapter I: A Warm bath
_________Levi:_________

Stranger: Wake up, it's time to go down to the river sleepy head.
I tried to wipe my foggy eyes with my hands, but it's still a blur, as I look up, I see a woman standing in front of my bed, she looks a little older than I am.

"Perhaps she's a caretaker."

Levi: Who...are you?
Stranger: Marania's the name, and you must be...Levi, I suppose?
Levi: Yes...that's me.
Levi: Where did you come from, why have you woken me?
Marania: I am the new caretaker, this is my very first day. Mrs Martha told me to wake you.
Levi: Oh...Allright, *sigh*, Well I suppose I should wash my face and get ready for doing what again?
Marania: River Fishing!
Marania: Let me excuse you, I will meet you at the gate in a bit.
Levi: Thanks...See you.

"Well that was quite an introduction. I wonder if she'll be able to last a week with these kids."

Foster life, not so fun, but at least I have food to eat and a bed to suck in all my tiredness. I got up and I washed my face, as I walk down the hall, I could hear all the other teenagers getting ready for today.
*Sigh*

"I thought Mrs Martha would be in town already, I do not have the wilting spirit to stand her today."

Mrs Martha, she appears to be a good woman but questionable at times, she seems to love these kids, some kids say she's a witch, It appears she has a vendetta against me, as if I killed that nasty pet bird of hers which keeps waking me up at nights.

"Which I totally did, I just keep on denying it".

I walk out of the hall and stand by the brewing pot outside, hoping to find something to eat.

"I am starving, I should've eaten last night."

Last night I didn't eat, I was in fact not sleeping, but I snuck out to watch the stars with Belle and Xavier.

"I don't even regret it".

Mrs Martha: There will be no breakfast served this morning, I warned you children about the wood. My instructions were 50 logs chopped a day.

"These poor souls".

The kids can barely keep up with all the work that's given to them.

"She probably sells the logs for Ale money, or owns a whorehouse somewhere".

Belle: Mrs Martha, we all sincerely apologise, but we're starving to eat.
Xavier: Yeah, we're hungry.
Foster child: You're a witch Mrs Martha!
Mrs Martha: How dare you say such a thing, go to the blockhouse, now!
Foster child: No!
The blockhouse, four walls, only one door, it's dark in there, no light enters, at times she will send children in there for "punishment", leaving them in there for days...
After a struggle, Mrs Martha grabbed the child by his arm and threw him into the blockhouse, locking it with the key hanging around her neck.

"I'll slit that neck if she tries that with me".

Mrs Martha: Anyone else cares to join him...? Anyone?
There was silence among the rest of the children.

"They don't obey out of order, it's out of fear."

Mrs Martha:Go to the river, all of you, go!
As we all walked down to the river, Mrs Martha stayed behind.

"I wonder what this new caretaker thinks of this eventful morning."

Marania: Allright, listen up, you're going to be split into three separate groups, then each group is going to build a float and make their own lines, catch as many fish as you can!
