Hyunjin made his way into the classroom with a smirk, holding a single paper of notes in his hands. In a few minutes he would get another math test, and he was ready to once again score the best in class, to stay the highest in school.
It wasn't a lie when he'd said he had the highest IQ in the university, and no one came as close to his grades as he did. He simply did not score lower than the best, and would do anything to even make up for a single mistake he made.
Everyone feared him as well, his cold glares but stunning looks made everyone fall in love, simply too blind to see what a jerk he really acted like. Guys were jealous of his looks, girls were too scared of him or just simply too blind to see his behavior.
He wouldn't have time for a girl, and even after many, embarrassing attempts of different people, no one ever gave up to sending him love letters and confessing to him.
He simply thought too high of himself, really. He had the best grades, stunning looks, and no one could ever beat him to it, or come even close to it.
Until one boy joined the university. He was gorgeous looking, but often also bullied for his beauty. Everyone was really just jealous of him, but who'd dare to say that to him. And after his first test, Hyunjin knew he had something to fight for.
The boy was smart, a literal genius, and easily beat Hyunjin on his first day already, with only a percentage of 0.06% higher of total score than Hyunjin. The latter was furious, obviously, since he couldn't believe someone younger than him could beat him even after a few hours.
That also led to many more hours of studying, and it didn't take too long afterwards when Hyunjin was above the boy again. It was only the tiniest bit of 0.02%, but anything to keep his image was done.
After several weeks of simple fighting and mocking to each other, they soon realized they couldn't stand one another. Whenever Hyunjin passed the boy he would yell insults or make fun of him, while the younger male simply tried to just do his work and not mind the cockyness of Hwang.
The boy had only started his university there because he was thrown off his other school, simply being too high and advanced in IQ than other kids. He would easily pass exams and was extremely bored in class either way, so the teacher's and principal decided why not to just throw him to a better university.
At first the boy had declined, respectfully telling them he would never be able to afford such a fancy school, but they did anything to get him away and even paid his university for the next 5 years, not caring a single bit.
Of course this wasn't all planned and went as easy as it seemed, but the teacher's were tired of being outsmarted by a boy who was two times younger than them, especially when they were all cocky and didn't want to give in.
So, this meant the boy had to go to a further university, at the very border of the city of Seoul, at least traveling for a good hour and a half to even simply get there, all to just be mocked by the one and only Hwang.
At first the young male had an interest in him, he was smart, gorgeous looking, and even respectful. But after a few hours of testing skills, he ended up being higher on their school's list than him, and he clearly couldn't have any of it. The boy never even tried to be the best, just did everything he could to get as high as possible, not knowing Hyunjin's score was already such a high number.
The male looked extremely rich either way, so no one would really be surprised if it all ended up being Hwang's daddy paying the teacher's just for the sake of his son's image. The male's parents had a very famous business, owned multiple companies, which a few of even the most known in South Korea, so it wasn't a big deal for him to be the best.
