Dudleys birthday, yay. our aunt Petunia then banged on our door, telling us to "get out and make breakfast." Her voice squeaky and high pitched as usual. Harry and I let out a small sigh. "Cmon," I said to Harry in a quiet voice. "We don't want to get into more trouble," I said with a hint of fear in my voice. Harry nodded his head, and we headed out.

As Harry and I were making breakfast, Dudley was inspecting his presents like he does every year. "How many are there?" Said Dudley excitedly. "There are exactly thirty-six and counting," said our uncle Vernon with a smile.

"Only  thirty-six! But last year, last year, I had thirty-seven!" Dudley screeched out. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia began to panic when my aunt decided to say, "we can get you two more presents when we're out. Does that sound alright, dudley-kins? "  There was obviously a hint of desperation in her voice.

Harry and I served the breakfast and sat down.
Uncle Vernon cleared his throat loudly and spoke, "You two will be coming g with us to the zoo," he said with a scowl.
I looked at Harry, and we both smiled.

We were all heading out to the car when Uncle Vernon had suddenly pulled us aside. "There better be no funnt business or you won't have food for a week!" He whispered violently.
We both flinched abs nodded out heads before we were pushed into the car.

We had arrived at the zoo and began to look around when Dudley had spotted a sleeping snake, "Dad, it's asleep, Dad, wake it up!" He said as he continued to tap the glass.
Harry spoke up, "Stop doing that! It doesn't like it!" I backed Harry up. When suddenly the glass had disappeared and Dudley had fallen in. He let out a big scream. "HELP, mummy! " he tried to get out, but the glass had re-appeared, and Aunt Pentunia let out a screaming as she rushed over to the exhibit. The snake had slid over to us by now.
"Sorry about him," said Harry and I. He can be quite annoying, " said Harry quietly. The snake nodded, and we gasped. "Can you hear us?" I asked, and the snake nodded again. Harry looked over to a sign. "Was that where you were from? Must've been nice there. " The snake shook its head and showed him the sign that said 'bread in captivity.'
"Oh," said Harry and I. "Do you talk to people often?" I asked.
The snake replied, "no-ssss,"
Why can we? Who knows..

Once we got home, it was hell! Uncle Vernon dragged us into the house and threw us in the cupboard under the stairs and screamed at us. "NO FOOD FOR A WEEK!" We were used to it by now, I mean, I know it's not a good thing, but we couldn't help it.

At least we had each other..
