alternate alien force

prologue: the null void

Ben’s POV:

It was one of the only times I was genuinely terrified for my family since I got the watch, my cousin Gwen was caught in Vilgaxs grasp and I had no way of turning into one of my aliens with Kevin attacking me before I can get to her.

Vilgax: so, what’ll it be Tennyson your family’s life or the omnitrix, your choice! *Squeezing Gwen tighter having her scream in pain*

Ben: stop! Fine I’ll give you the stupid watch as long as you let my cousin go!

Vilgax: a noble choice, how pathetic *tosses gwen aside*

As Vilgax stomped over with the device to remove the watch I just thought of how I could save gwen.

Ben: *whispering* I hope this works *in mind* ‘alright omnitrix I know you can hear what I’m thinking, please I need you to turn me into an alien to save my cousin.

Then right as Vilgax threw me to the ground I was engulfed in a green light transforming me into a blue moth like alien, I somehow already knew what I could do and I phased through the ground letting before flying through Vilgax freezing him in ice, I then breathed onto Kevin also freezing him in place.

Gwen: Ben what are you?

Vilgax began to crack the ice around him.

Ben: no time, we gotta go!

I picked up Gwen and flew towards the portal unfortunately Vilgax had broken out and started chasing us as we were getting closer to the portal, I noticed that it wouldn’t close in time, so I made a choice as we landed.

Ben: Gwen you’ve got to go back to Grandpa I’ll hold him off.

Gwen: what? Ben what are you talking about we need to leave

Ben: no Gwen listen if I don’t hold him back before that portal closes then he’ll be back and kill you both and I can’t let that happen.

Gwen: B-ben you don’t understand if we both don’t go back now then Grandpa won’t be able to get you back w-we don’t want to lose you. *Starts crying*

Ben: *hugs gwen while crying himself* I know, which is why I can’t let vilgax escape. I promise I’ll find a way home I swear it.

Gwen: how can you be sure that you will come back.

Ben: I don’t gwen, it’s a leap of faith.
Gwen hugs me again and tells me “You better keep that promise” before she walks to the portal, I get her attention.

Ben: Hey cous, I want you to tell Grandpa and my parents that I love them.

Gwen: I will Ben, but we’ll be waiting for you to say it yourself.

The last thing she said before walking through the portal, I allow a few tears to roll down my face before gaining a determined face and jumping down onto one of the platforms as four arms blocking Vilgaxs path.

Vilgax: you should know Tennyson, that once I get through that portal, I will make sure you will watch helplessly as I kill all of your family!

I snarled in anger before running towards him as he we met he swung his arms down while I lifted my upper arms to block him, I then threw some punches with my lower arms before he started to force me down so I transformed into grey matter allowing vilgax to stumble over I turned into Heatblast and blasted him off the platform before rocketing after him I turned into Cannonbolt and using the momentum slammed into vilgax send him through multiple platforms before coming to a stop.

As we got up I turned into XLR8 and rushed at vilgax as he was getting up before turning into Diamondhead giving a giant kick to the face, not letting up I formed two giant diamond fists from the ground and immediately began controlling then smashing them into vilgax causing him to go more and more into the ground.

Afterwards I calmed down and I looked to see an unconscious vilgax, knowing what he would do if awake I quickly froze him before encasing that in a thick layer of diamond heads crystals.

As I looked out into the null void I let out a deep breath before remembering my promise to gwen as I toughened my face and headed off into the unknown.

*time skip: 5 years*

It’s been years since I’ve been stuck in the null void It’s been a wild ride, I’ve constantly fought Kevin over the years, though eventually we worked stuff out and now, he’s essentially my best friend, we’ve fought against multiple aliens in here and even found that there’s a full society in here.

Currently me and Kevin were working on a portal to get out of the null void, I was Upgrade whilst Kevin had absorbed some of grey matter and Brainstorms dna to work out the calculations.

Kevin: ok Tennyson, you complete the circuity, *types away at the computer* I’m just gonna go over the final tests.

Ben: *after I’m done I turn back to normal and stand next to kevin and smiles at the machine* to think we’re this close to finally going home

Kevin: *chuckles* yeah, first thing I’m gonna do is have a shower, get a car and a burger. *I chuckle along* what about you Ben?

Ben: *I give it some deep thought yet the same thought comes to mind* I’m going to find my family.

Kevin smiled as he booted up the machine, a wereing sound was heard and on the interface came a progress bar saying “wormhole generator completed in 5 minutes” with a progress bar that was currently at 26%

Ben: it works*I whispered first* it really works!

Kevin: yes! We’re going home! *Kevin yelled with his hands in the air before putting me in a headlock* c’mere you knuckle head!

Soon after a red glow came and the portal was opened me and Kevin nodded to each other and stepped through at the same time. Neither of us knowing what would await on the other side
