IM SO BORED AND ANNOYED AND BALLOONS BEING A JERK AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION AND IM BORED AND HE NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO ME BECAUSE IM BORED.
he's been busy and been on his phone all day, but I want him to actually spend time with me.
I sighed and flopped on my bed after a failed attempt at trying to get him to look at me.
He walked in after me, still on his phone. He sighed and put it down, sitting on his bed and opening a book. He'd rather read a book than pay attention to me?!
Ok, I'm tired of this..
"BALLOON!" I got up and hollered at him.
He flinched and shut his book, looking at me rather shocked.
"Oh- uh- yes, Nickel?" He said.
"YOUVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO ANYTHING BUT ME!" I yelled.
He seemed confused for a second before he changed to a more curious expression.
"...uh..want to spend time together?.." he asked with a soft tone.
I angrily nodded.
He sighed with a small smile, patting the spot next to him. I got off my bed and stumbled to his, pushing myself onto his bed and settling against his side.
He gently rubbed my head with his soft hand. I leaned into the comforting touch, allowing myself to melt into Balloon.

<Balloons pov>
Today's been a bit long..
Been busy, and then I decided to rest on my phone.
Nickel seems pretty pouty, though..?
He walked ahead of me into our room, flopping on his bed and sighing. I walked in after him, sighing and sitting my phone down. I then got on my bed and opened a book.
It wasn't long after that when Nickel got up and took a deep breath, hollering; "BALLOON!"
I flinched and slammed my book shut.
"Oh- uh- yes, Nickel?" I said.
"YOUVE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO ANYTHING BUT ME!" He yelled angrily.
I was shocked for a second before it hit me that he wanted attention. "...uh..want to spend time together?.." I asked with a soft tone, as I usually did when he was irritated.
He thought for a second before nodding angrily.
I sighed with a small smile, sitting my book on my desk and patting the spot next to me. He got off his bed, stumbling to mine and pushing himself up next to me. He leaned on my side, me rubbing his head gently. He allowed himself to melt into my touch, seeming a bit calmer than before.
He was pretty cute when eager for attention. [UGH CRINGE IM DHING]
I leaned down and pecked him on the head. He looked up at me, a bit confused.
I then quickly kissed him on the nose. He was a bit shocked for a second before grumbling something and hiding his face in his knees to hide a bit of an embarrassed fluster that took his face.
I giggled at him a bit, getting him irritated.
"Balloon, stop.." he mumbled.
"What? You just want to spend quality time together..!" I said. He looked up at me, still flustered. "I said stop. Lemme rest without you being annoying again..." He said with an eye roll.
I quickly kissed him on the lips before he hid his face again. He groaned in annoyance after I did, avoiding eye contact.
He would've just got up and stormed out if he really got annoyed, but he learned to deal with me annoying him constantly.
Despite how clearly mad I sometimes make him, he'd still spend time with me.
I got my hand off him and watched the angry Nickel get lost in his thoughts.
We were silent and separated for a few minutes before I put my hand on his back, shocking him as he flinched away and gasped.
"Uh- you ok?" I asked, trying not to laugh about his shock.
"Y-Yea, you just scared me! I zoned off."
He said.
I put my hand back on his back, just slower not to shock him again.
He almost flinched again, but quickly rested. He leaned on my side once more, finding warmth. He quickly nuzzled into me and hid his face in my side.
I rested my eyes and leaned back on the pillow, causing Nickel to fall back with me. He didn't mind, still resting. At this point, he could very well be asleep with how careless he is about my movement.
I pulled him up a bit to check, and- ..yep, completely knocked out.
I laughed at it a bit, pulling the blankets up and holding the sleeping Nickel in my arms.
