At that fateful moment, when the world seemed to stop turning, the brother was sitting on the harsh road, holding her frail body in his arms. Her face, which had always been full of life and childish laughter, was soaked in her blood. That blood that seemed to steal the last remaining hope in his heart. His eyes tried to hold back the tears, but he failed... Those tears burst like a torrent, expressing his deep sorrow. She was not only his sister, but a mother and a companion, the source of his strength, and every beat of his heart was connected to her. In front of him, she was opening her lips to say something, but her voice was weak... One word came out with difficulty: **"PUD"**. She looked at him with her eyes full of the words she could not say, her eyes full of love and pain, and took her last breath. She left, leaving behind a deafening silence.

His heart exploded with screams, he couldn't control himself anymore

His heart exploded with screams, he couldn't control himself anymore. **"How will I live without you? How will I continue life when you are not by my side?"**. He was crying bitterly as he repeated: **"You were my mother before you were my sister, you were all I had. This wasn't supposed to happen. I was the one who should have gone, not you!"**.

He held her hand that was gradually becoming cold, feeling his soul being pulled with him. **"Who will take care of me now? Who will take me from this darkness?"**

In that rainy moment, where there was only the sound of raindrops falling on the cold asphalt, he sat down collapsed, hugging her small body in his arms. The rain was mercilessly drenching them, but the pain squeezing his heart was more severe than any storm. She was in his arms, her calm face suggesting that she was sleeping peacefully, but the reality that tore his soul apart was completely different.

He screamed in the darkness, his voice echoing like an echo in the heart of the empty city. **"No! Don't leave me... not now!"**. He tried to shake her gently, as if hoping she would wake up, open her eyes again, say a word, anything... but her body remained still, cold as the rain began to cool his body as well.

His eyes filled with tears, tears he couldn't control. That was the moment he realized that everything was over, that she was gone, leaving behind a huge void that nothing could fill. **"Please, you promised me that we would continue this path together... How could you leave me now?!"**.

His mind couldn't accept what had happened, and he began to imagine the moments they had lived together, her laughter, her voice, their shared dreams. And now, all of that was gone with her, leaving behind a wreckage of sadness.

The rain continued to fall, as if crying with him, but even nature couldn't share in this deep sadness. It was that moment when he felt like he had lost everything, that the whole world had collapsed around him, and all that was left was pain and memories.

With a hoarse voice full of bitterness and anger, he grabbed her limp hands, his tears mixing with the raindrops falling on his face, and whispered: "Here I am today, threatening revenge... I swear to you, I will take revenge, and I will bring him kneeling and begging at your grave." His voice was trembling, but his determination was as firm as a rock. "I will take out my dagger that I will always carry, next to the wound that your departure left in my heart, and slit his throat without mercy, so that his blood will splatter and water your pure grave."

The words of revenge came out of his mouth like fires burning deep within him, but still, he held her in his arms with love. Slowly, he rested her head on the ground quietly, as if she were a piece of his soul that he feared losing forever. He moved away a little, looking at her as if she was still able to open her eyes and look at him again, but silence was the master of the situation.

He took out his phone, his hands trembling, called an ambulance, then took out his white scarf that carried the scent of the past and beautiful memories, and placed it gently on her cold body. He covered her body, as if he was saying goodbye to her again, his heart filled with the pain of losing her for the last time. While he waited for the ambulance to arrive, he stood beside her in silence, tense between sadness and anger. His eyes were lost in the dark night, but in his heart he was carving a covenant of revenge. He knew that the path he chose would be long and lonely, but he was ready to take it alone, driven by the memory of his sister and the torments of his heart.

After minutes of waiting, the sound of ambulance sirens pierced the silence of the night, but for him, there was no peace in his heart. The paramedics arrived quickly, and approached him with grim faces, realizing the magnitude of the tragedy before them. One of the paramedics leaned down beside her gently, and felt her pulse, which had stopped a while ago. They exchanged glances, and then he nodded slowly, confirming what Ryan had known all along: she was gone.

They gently lifted her body and placed it on the stretcher, and covered her with a white shroud, but he insisted that his scarf that he had placed on her stay with her. "The scarf stays..." he said in a barely coherent voice, and no one objected. They slowly turned the stretcher and put it in the car, and the sirens began to pierce the cold silence of the night again.

The next day, family and friends gathered in the small cemetery, the ground wet from the rain that had not stopped since the previous night, as if sharing their grief. The attendees were silent, unable to comprehend what had happened. Some were whispering verses and prayers, others were holding their hands over their hearts that were heavy with pain.

Ryan stood away from everyone, his eyes fixed on the white coffin covered with white flowers, the same flowers that his sister Maria loved. His body was frozen, as if his soul had left with him that night. The scene passed before him like a dream, but he knew that this painful reality was now part of his life.

The coffin began to slowly lower itself into the freshly dug grave. Ryan felt the cold wind on his face, but it was no colder than his heart that had frozen since losing her. Some dirt fell on the coffin, and that was the moment when he felt that a part of his soul had been buried with her.

Amidst the rain that never stopped pouring, Ryan stood there, silent, as his tears mixed with the cold raindrops that fell heavily on his face and hair

Amidst the rain that never stopped pouring, Ryan stood there, silent, as his tears mixed with the cold raindrops that fell heavily on his face and hair. He was wearing a heavy black suit that was soaked in the rain, but it was no heavier than the sadness that weighed on his chest. His eyes, dark with sorrow, were focused on the grave in front of him, where the red flowers he had carefully chosen were placed, in a desperate attempt to bring a touch of beauty to this harsh scene.

He slowly leaned towards the grave, kneeling on his knees, his feet sinking into the mud, but he did not care. He placed his trembling hand on the cold tombstone, which symbolized the sad end of someone who was not just a sister, but a part of him. "Maria..." He whispered her name as if he feared that the echo of the word would go far away. The voice was weak and broken, as if his soul had been shattered with her departure.

He took the roses in his hands and placed them gently on the grave, the scent of rain mixed with the scent of sad flowers, as if they shared with him this pain that words could not express. He looked around for a moment, the world continued on its path, indifferent to the loss that tore his heart apart. He felt as if the universe had stopped for him, but he knew that nothing would stop. As he stood in the rain, he felt a huge emptiness devouring him. The pain in his chest was unbearable, but the anger that burned inside him was greater than anything. "I will never forget you, and I will not let your death pass without accountability."

Life now seems like a dark void, you're gone, taking a part of me with you that can never be recovered.
