L's POV:

L had a difficult chase. But this was a different kind of difficult: this chase needed fieldwork. L already figured out everything, but he didn't have evidence, and here begins the trouble.

In this case there were already fifteen deaths, and he knew that more will come. He had to act quickly. He knew that a big, and organized team is in the background, he knew who are the leaders, and he knew where they are. But this is not enough. In this world you need to have evidence, to put someone in jail. No matter what you know, or who you are. Without any evidence, even the greatest detective of the world couldn't do anything.

L knew, that this organization has a headquarter. He sent there many agents, but no one did return. This case started to annoy him. So he thought, that at this point he would need more professional help.

At this time there was an agent called the Black Star. This agent was as famous as L, though, their field of expertise was different. This agent's specialty was field work. Some said, that the Black Star can go in where she wants, knock out who she wants, and get any information she wants.  Everywhere she was, she leaved a special, black star sticker, that is how she got her name.

So L wanted to call this agent, but he was hesitating. He was hesitating, because once he asked the Black Star's help with another case, but she said that it was boring, and didn't come. L had to confess to himself, that that case really was boring, but he still was angry, that the first time in his life he didn't get the help he wanted, just because he was L. He thought that the Black Star should say "thank you", that he even called her. At that time she wasn't so famous, many thought, that she's just some amateur.

At the end L decided, to call her once, but if she refuses him again then he will never try again. So he called the number, that was on the internet, to those who want the help of the Black Star.

-Hi, who is there?

L found this direct greeting quite strange, but he accepted it.

-Hi, I'm detective L. Maybe you remember me, once I asked for your help.

-Oh yeah, I remember you. Greatest detective of the world, with a reaaaally boring case. How can I help you? But I tell you now, that if this is another boring case of yours, I will not come.

-I don't think, that it is boring.

-Well, we'll see, if you tell me something about it.

So L told her everything about the case, and about what he wanted her to do:

-This organization has an archive about their crimes. They like to brag about how much "work" did they do. I want you to go in there, and bring me the files about this fifteen murder.

-Now THIS is an interesting case! I will help you out detective. Where is this HQ?

-Before you do the work, I would like to meet you.

-Why?

-I would like to ask you some questions, to see, if I can trust you.

-This is kinda strange... But okay, I will come. Where do we meet?

-I'm in Los Angeles, hotel Harison, room 112.

-Ok, I will come in maybe... 3 hours. Bye!

-Bye...

L didn't know what to think about this whole thing. But he got the help of the Black Star. This is something, even if he didn't know if he can trust her, or not.
