Ellie stood in the kitchen and looked to see grace as she waked in and smiled as she looked to her daughter

"Hey are you okay?" Ellie asked. She knew how things were with her family. She knew what her dad was like and she knew how she was trying her best for her daughter. She knew it was all that she and Sami ever wanted for her and she knew that she'd do whatever she could to keep Grace safe from the likes of Patrick

She knew that Patrick was her dad but she knew that he had mentally abused her for years. She knew how he had locked her up and how he had tried to get her to give up Grace when she was pregnant. She knew how much of a bully that he was and just what he was capable of

"I'm okay. Are you okay baby I am just tired that's all. You don't need to worry over me. It's just thinks with your grandfather he knows how to get to me I think we need to look at another school for you I don't like the idea of him being your headmaster and being on control of you there I know what he is like" Ellie said as grace looked to her and sighed

"Mum I know that you worry okay but you don't need to worry. I can handle it. I can deal with him I have friends at the school mum please" Grace said as Ellie looked to her and nodded

"Okay I trust you okay but of anything happens I want to know okay. I want to know what's going on. Even if you think it's nothing okay" Ellie said as grace looked to her and smiled

"I know I promise mum" Grace said

Ellie stood walking through the village as she saw Patrick "you know that you can't do this forever don't you" he said as she looked to him and rolled her eyes

"Do what?" She asked as he looked to her and sighed

"Ignore me forever. I am your father and we live in the same village and I deserve respect" he said as she looked to him and scoffed

"You are looking aren't you? Respect for you ? The man who locked me in the basement and chained me up like a wild animal when I got pregnant. I was young and I was scared and yeah I messed up and got pregnant. Grace knows that she wasn't planned but she's my happy accident and if Sami didn't find me you'd of given my baby away like you did with Sienna what were you going to do dad say my baby died too like her. Your a sad excuse for a father" Ellie said as she went to walk off as he grabbed her arm stopping her

"Grace would of been better off that a slit for a mother and a father like that" he said

"Do not play the race card dad. I love Sami and he's a better dad to Grace than you ever were to me. The Maalik took me in and treated me as if I was one of those own. You treated me like trash" she said as Patrick looked to her

"That's because you are. You belong in the gutter and that girl is going to turn out just like you" he spat as she pulled him away from him and glared

"Go to hell" she spat as she walked off. She didn't care what he said to her. She had put up with his abuse and vile comments for years but she wasn't going to sit back and let him insult her daughter

Ellie walked into Sami office. He looked to her and smiled as he sat on the phone. She sat at the side opposite his desk as she waited for him to finish on the phone. He hung up the phone as the two of them held a look

"What's up with you" he asked as he saw the look on her face

"Nothing" she said as he looked to her and raised an eyebrow at her

"Ellie" he said as he stood up and walked over to here as he sat on the side of the desk as they held a look

"My father's then what is up. He said o was trashed and I belonged in the gutter. He said Grace was going to turn out just like me. I have tried so hard to be a good mum Sami, to give her better than what I got and the way he speaks over my daughter I'm just so angry" she said as he sighed

"Come here" he said as he stood in front of her as she stood up and sighed as he pulled her into his arms as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"You're a great mum Ellie. I have seen how you have always protected her. You put her first all the time and it makes me fall in love with you all over again and when it comes to Grace turning into you well I think that Grace would be Lucky to be just like her mum and she'd even say the same thing try not to be so hard on yourself okay" he said as she looked to him and nodded as he pulled her to him and kissed her

Ellie got home as she stood on the bathroom and sighed. She looked to the pregnancy test in her hands and dodged. She knew that she had been feeling off and she was feeling more hormonal than normal. She knew that signs of it all and she was scared

Ellie knew that she and Sami had always talked over having another baby but things got in the way, his career and hers. Grace coming first and she was worried. She knew that this wasn't planned.

Ellie looked down at the results and sighed as she walked out of the bathroom. She didn't know what to think.

Ellie walked out and into the bedroom as Sami looked up at her as she closed the bedroom door

"Are you okay?" He asked as she held up the pregnancy test

"I'm pregnant"
