Nicka

I sat down at my desk and couldn't move, just lost myself in the silence
that he left behind. My hands continued to burn where he'd clenched them so much so that it was all I could do not to show him that I was hurting. He won't wait for.

Thank God he's gone and doesn't see my dumb stupor and despair. The events
of the last few days have completely devastated me.

Someone came into the office. I didn't dare raise my head because I was afraid
it was HIM again.

"Nicka, what happened here? Are you okay?" Elina's voice came from above me.

She sits down on the cards and starts packing up my things. Seeing this, I
join her.

"Nick? What did he want? And what happened? What is it?" she asks me with genuine concern.

"I saw him with Miss Sparrow that day... And he thinks I took that photo."

"But you didn't do it, did you?"

"No, of course not!" I exclaimed, feeling offended, as if Elina suspected me of that, too.

"Then you don't have to worry. Sooner or later, Nick will find out who did it anyway. He won't just let it go, that's the way he is."

"Yeah, he's a real tyrant!"

"Did he offend you? Why do you say that?" Elina was surprised. "He and my brother have been friends for a long time, and Nick always stands up for justice. I think "Tyrant" is not quite his definition, although it can be harsh and rude, I agree."

I didn't argue with her, because she could only know one side of him.
Especially if he is her brother's friend, and he probably has a special
attitude towards her.

Yes, besides, I liked Elina. And I really didn't want to ruin
my relationship with her just because she had such familiar friends.

"If you're not in a hurry, we could go somewhere. For example, there's an old but super cool cafe nearby with the most delicious ice cream. It, though a little shabby, but honestly I'll tell you, much surpasses many other modern pretentious cafes. And what is their product range?! I've never tasted anything better anywhere. Dad says that nothing in this cafe has changed since his childhood. He takes me there often. What do you say?"

Although I like Elina, but her desire to make friends with me is a little
alarming. The real reason for her interest to my person, I'll find out in a little while.
