Elena and I were driving to the boarding house to find out what's going on with Vicki. Once we we reached the boarding house, we get out of the car and walked to the door. Elena rang the doorbell, and Damon Salvatore is whom had answered. He smiled widely at us.

I made a disgust face, and sound, and pushed past him, walking inside.

"Good morning, and make yourself at home," Damon remarks, sarcastically.

I looked at him. "Don't mind if I do," I walked over to him and took his glass of Bourbon and downed it. Then placed the empty cup back onto his awaiting hand.

Damon gave me an annoyed look. "That was my Bourbon."

I shrug, nonchalantly. "You did say, 'make yourself at home.'"

"Not exactly what I meant."

I shrug innocently. "Oops."

He rolls his eyes in annoyance.

"Is Stefan here?" Elena asked.

Damon turns his attention to her. "Yep."

"Where is he?" She asked.

"And good morning to you too, Little Miss-I'm-on-a-mission."

I sighed in annoyance, as I crossed my arms over my chest. "How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything that you've done?"

He turns his attention back to me. "And how can you be so brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?"

"If you wanted me dead, I'd be dead."

"Yes you would," Damon admits, reassuringly."

"But, I'm not."

"Yet."

I rolled my eyes. "Where is Stefan?"

"He's upstairs. Singing 'The Rain in Spain,' knock yourself out."

We towards to the stairs. "Stefan?" Elena calls, looking behind her, seeing the door she had closed, now wide open. "Stefan?"

"Yeah?" Stefan calls from the top stairs.

"Where's Vicki?"

Stefan put a finger to his lips signalling us to be quieter and pointed to his ear, signalling us that she could hear. "She's upstairs."

Once he was standing in front of us, Elena asked him, "What happens now? Because our brother is searching for her with the rest of the town."

"I'm working with her, but it'll take time. She has a very volatile personality, she's a drug user, and all of this is going to play part in how she responds to this."

"So technically, she's a vampire with issues? Like Damon?" Stefan gives me a side-way glance. "Awesome," I groan out.

"What's going to happen to her?" Elena asked.

With honesty, Stefan answered, "I'm going to keep her here with me until I know she's safe."

"How long is that?" Vicki demands as she walks down the stairs.

"We can talk about that later," Stefan sighs out.

"Hey, Vicki, how are you?" Elena asks.

"How am I?" Vicki scoff. "You're kidding, right?"

We walked into the kitchen, listening as Jeremy leaves yet another voicemail to Vicki. I let out a sigh and look at Elena questiongly.

Elena shook her head. "Hey, Jer."
