It was almost a week since their conversation. And Aadya could see the changes very well.

He was not an absent husband anymore but quiet? Yes!

He wasn't very talkative, he only gave his input when she talked.

She wasn't talkative either, but she was the one who kept the conversation going between them.

They talked like they had in their phone conversations.

It was nice. Now when she woke up, she would find him in the room. Mostly getting ready because he was an early riser. He came back home on time to have dinner with Aadya and his mom, Ravina.

That day when she opened her eyes, she found him there sitting beside her, holding her hand in his. Her fever had gone down but he was still sitting there worried.

" You didn't leave for the office?" She had asked the first question that came to her mind. And the answer gave wings to her hope.

"You are sick, how can I leave you alone? I need to be here. You need me here more " he said helping her lean on the headrest, tenderly holding her hand.

And since then, he has always been there. With her. Beside her.

She was back home early because both of them were invited to his friend's wedding. She shuffled through her sarees and picked an emerald green saree.

Her cute-chubby frame made her look like a princess, she was looking gorgeous in her attire. Since her saree was a little on the heavier side, She paired it with less jewelry. Her Hair was tied in a bun with a few tendrils curving her face shape.

And the moment, his eyes landed on her his breath almost stuck in his throat.

Mesmerizing!

He forwarded his hand towards her and she gladly accepted it. She could feel his stare on her and it made her blush. It was the first time when he was looking at her intently.

As the heat crawled through her cheeks, she hung her head low trying to hide her smile. But he grinned proudly the moment he saw her smile.

Suddenly she was feeling too shy.

And Shivaansh didn't seem to stop at that. He gently guided her out of their room. He was so into her that he almost lost his balance before stairs but Aadya held him through their joined hands.

He was flustered after that and Aadya seemed to enjoy his state. In a state of nervousness, he tried to quickly get away but stumbled again almost falling near his mother but this time she held him and he couldn't be more embarrassed.

His mother caught him," Are you fine, Shiv, what happened?" She thought he was feeling weak but he just shook his head, "I am fine, Maa" trying to get away.

Aadya chuckled as the tip of his ear kept turning darker as his mother kept asking questions about his well-being.

So cute!

He excused himself out saying he wasn't looking where he was walking and then only his mother left him muttering "Silly" under her breath.

Aadya giggled looking at the scene and grabbing their attention.

Shivaansh looked at her and then quickly averted his gaze as he didn't want to fall in front of her again.

His mom who noticed Aadya immediately went to her, " My daughter is looking so pretty" She awwed at her,  caressing her cheek, and then blessed her making Aadya shy.

"Well, now I know why Shiv was stumbling so much. " She teased both of them.

Shivaansh choked on air listening to her. "I will wait outside" he immediately rushed to his car.

Giggling, Ravina shouted from behind " Shiv, drive safely ". And then looked at Aadya, "he might forget to drive and keep looking at you, I am scared" She dramatically put her palm on her heart making Aadya redder than she already was.

"Oh my god! You guys are so cute. Go now!" she laughed nudging her lightly.

Nodding at her, Aadya moved out.

True to his words, Shivaansh was waiting for her leaning on the car. As soon as he saw her walking towards him, he went to open the door for her.

Helping her sit inside, he got in too.

For the first few minutes, there was complete silence in the car.  Both of them were too shy to speak anything.

A moment later, his phone rang and his friend asked about their whereabouts. Shivaansh told him they would reach soon. He looked at her and then said, "We will reach there in 20 minutes" Aadya nodded at him and started playing with the end of her saree again as if it was the most productive task at hand.

Shivaansh cleared his throat again, "I...I wanted to say umm....You look beautiful".

Aadya looked at him surprised, he refused to meet her eyes focusing on the way.

For a second she thought she dreamt about it but one glance from him, she knew it was real.

"Thank you, you too," she said pulling her hair strand behind her ear.

"What? Beautiful? " He chuckled at her and she shook her head.

And that is how the ice broke between them.

For the rest of the ride, Shivaansh told her about his friend and how had they met in school and then became friends for life.

Aadya listened to him carefully not missing a single detail of his life.

They reached the venue, and Shivaansh guided her inside holding her gently by her waist.
