Peni, Jaxon, Jenna, have you packed everything you're going to need?. I heard mom shouting from outside. Yes mom!. I reply as I hurriedly pack my things into my bag. I really wanted to go for summer camp but I'd rather just settle for family vacation. Stuffing things into my bag, I check my list in case I've forgotten anything, I hear mom telling Leo to go drop his winter coat. Okay, firstly, who carries winter coats in Summer? and secondly, we're going to a tropical region, it's not like it snows there, I sigh and check through to see if I've forgotten anything and realize that I haven't carried my charger. As I'm about to carry it, I hear mom screaming to castrate Leo if he doesn't return the winter coat and I start laughing. At this point, Jaxon sees this as a good opportunity to swoop in like a hawk and steal my charger. "Jaxon, you fool!. Bring my charger if you love your hair!. I shout as I chase after him. I finally catch up with him, yank my charger off his hands and leave the dreaded room I was in. I'm really sure he entered there on purpose. Anywho, back to my bags and thoughts. Dad sees me and tells me to tell others to start bringing their things. I go one by one, starting with Xander and then Jenna and then Jaxon. As I'm about to tell Samantha, she pushes past me as she says " I've got the message", I quickly apologize and turn to see Leo looking at me, I mumble it out as I rush to my room to pick my bags. As I come out, I see Samantha with four bags and Jenna with only one and in my mind, I'm wondering how we all are sisters. I don't finish my thoughts though as I hear dad telling Sam to drop two suitcases. She drops them reluctantly because Mom repeats the command. My siblings all file out with their belongings and I'm probably sure that our neighbors think we're moving. As I was bringing my bag into the car, I notice Xander looking at me strangely, he definitely wants something. "Why are you looking at me like that?." He still continues looking then looks behind me at the chocolate bars on the couch. What do you want?. "Chocolate" he answers. Didn't you have chocolate already?. Yup. Didn't mom say that no one should touch her chocolate?. Do you want me to die?. "Chillax, Mom isn't going to do anything to you, just ask her saying you want it for yourself". Nope, I'm not planning to join suicide squad anytime soon, thanks for the offer anyway, I could call Jaxon for you though, he'd happily do it. "Come on Peni, just do it". Nope, I answered cheekily. "Peni". Nope. "Peniiiiiiiiiii". Xanderrrrrr. "Pamela". What can I do for you sir?. "Ask Mom and then I'd think to share". What do you mean by think?. Mom's giving me, so I'll think to share. "What are you guys sharing". I hear Jenna ask. "Chocolate" came out from Xander. Do you want some?. "Yup". Okie, let me go ask Mom for chocolate. I come back skipping as I hand Jenna and Xander their chocolates. Perks of being the last born. "How come you went so fast for her but kept me waiting". I don't know because she wasn't staring at me like a creep. "Thanks for getting it, I knew you wouldn't let me down". Hey!. I didn't do it for you, I went to get chocolate. As we were waiting for those inside, I caught our neighbor Amelia staring at Xander. She's had a crush on him for as long as I remember and he hardly even remembers her. I wouldn't blame her though, he's like that. Even I as his sister has a crush on him. I start imagining how Nigeria would look like, the highest I know is the stories I've been told by my mom. As I'm standing imagining, I didn't realize everyone was waiting for me. Rushing in to sit beside Jaxon, I close my eyes as mom prays for our safety. "In Jesus' name, Amen. Father we thank you for giving us an opportunity to travel at this time, thank you for You have a plan for everything and has decided this as a great opportunity for us. We ask that whatsoever purpose You've created for this, we ask You guide us to make the right choices, do not let us fumble on our way. We ask You protect us from every evil and lead us to our destination safely. Amen ". "Amen", we all chorused back as Dad started for the airport. I mean back as I let the car lull me to sleep, hopefully I wouldn't get any nightmares.
