Part 42

The night came by when they reached the cottage.

When they entered the room, the heat of the moment caught up to them as jungkook quickly pulled taehyung's wrist, making her body collide with his.

"You looked gorgeous, i want to worship your beauty" he whispers by her ears as she shivers in thrill.

"Who's stopping you?" She wishpers back, just as much heated.

Jungkook immediately smashes their lips together, a rough kiss which escalated to his hands roaming around her whole body.

Gradually, jungkook was latching on her neck, marking her as he kissed her, with all the emotions whirling in his chest.

Lost in eachother, they both ended up making love.

And now fully cleaned and dressed up, they laid beside eachother, covered by the warm duvet while still in eachother's embrace, snuggled close.

"This is the best day of my life" taehyung whispers, her face morphed onto that of a thankful person,"Maybe the la-" before she could utter, he shushes her.

"Our love is strong enough."

He hopes so. She hopes so.

It was quite a early morning setting. Taehyung was standing before a cliff, as a woman in all white stood beside her.

The cold breeze gently blew the woman's bell sleeves and her long hair along with taehyung's flowery dress and her brown locks.

The woman stood there smiling while taehyung stared deep into the abbyss, a crescent moon necklace hanging gracefully on her neck.

As the moment passed by, the woman brought up her hands to taehyung's belly while staring at a distance. Taehyung puts her hands over hers as she too stares at a distance.

FLASHBACK

With a bag of cake and jewelery, she starts walking to the company since it was not far from there.

And as she did, suddenly a bright light emerged, making her shut her eyes tightly.

And before she knew, everything around her was dark.

Just as she thought she lost her vision, a figure illuminates before her. She focuses on the face of the figure of the woman whose face and voice had repeatedly haunted her.

"After all that, you are still adament about marrying him?" She asks, voice just as cruel as always.

But taehyung stands there, with determination,"I want to love him and be his until my last breathe, being his first love and first wife. Even if it costs my life."

The lady narrows her eyes, "Its a matter of life and death. Why dont you let someone else marry him first and die, then live with him forever?"

Taehyung with a tear rolling down her eyes replies,"Because for me, love and marriage happens only once, my only one will be him. If not this, i will be by him in my next life. But for now, I'll accept the game of fate."

Her tears showed weakness but her eyes stood with unwavered determination. She beliebed in their love but if fate plays a game, she woukd accept it too.

"I believe in my love. In our love."

Hearing her, the woman smirks, "Happy journey, you can pull away anytime." She says before disappearing, leaving her frozen, while her eyes spoke, in tears.

Seconds latet when she wiped her tears with gathered determination, she took a step to realize something under her shoes.

She steps back to see a crescent moon necklace.

END OF FLASHBACK

Jungkook suddwnly jolts out of his sleep, and the first thing he does is patting tge space beside him to find it empty.

He sits upright, "Taehyung?" He calls, getting off of the bed.

"Taehyung?" Again, but no response.

He searches the whole cottage, but no trace of her.

Out of frustration, he grabs his hair, tearing up.

"This is not true"

He says, recalling the scene from his dream earlier, taehyung before a cliff, with his saviour.

Did it really happen?

No. No!

He runs outside, eunning to the spot he saw on his dream a few moments ago, "Taehyung!" He shouts, but no response.

Finally reaching the spot,"Taehyung!" He yells but no one seemed to be answering.

He stands at the exact spot she was standing, looking below her feets was a high end cliff, from somewhere, nobody can expect a saved life.

It was too hollow, looking at it alone brought goosebumbs.

Shaking his head, he pulls his hair. Walking few steps back, he drops on his knees.

"No!" He growls.

"Taehyung!" He roars as his eyes leak river of tears while they turn red.

"Taehyung" his voice comes out weak, aa his heart mourns, he feels his heart being clenched.

"Why? Just why?" He roars, but weaker.

His tears flow uncontrollably as he slams his time several times on the ground,"You said you were here to protect me, but why? Why did you take her away? Why?"

"All she did was love me. Why did you do that?" He yells.

His heart pain reaches the most when he chokes in air, but still no sign of life was there.

He would hate to say but he was loosing his confidence.

They lobed eachother, but why did the curse dominated their love? Was their love that weak? Was he never meant to find happiness?

Tired, his cries calmed down as he stood up, walking closer to the cliff.

"Life without taehyung, is not life at all"

So why live through such a lifeless time?

He whispers before closing his eyes, where he found his love of life, happily showing off her boxy smile. All the times they hugged, the times they kissed, the time they spent together. Everything.

Without a thought, he took a step ahead.

Hearing her giggles, a snile crept onto his face while he took another step.

'I love you'
He heard her voice.

"I love you too." He whispers before taking another step that made him slip, but instead of flinching, he let it be. He let himself fall down, leaving his body free as she recalled her face.

He felt himself going down, but all he could feel was relief.

Because there laid a hope of meeting his love after he finally ends his lifeless life.
