CHAPTER 14

The search for my long lost daughter was finally over.... We finally found her, all along she was just right in front of our eyes... And yet I did not noticed.... I remembered the first time Jessica talked about her when she first met her at our restaurant with Joohyun...

Flashback.......

I was checking my sales and of course some matters for our company here in my office at the restaurant.... I was having a hard time managing two business... Jessica often helps me but she was so focus on her and Tiffany's own business which is the clothing line that was known all around the world too.... My restaurant it was just a dream come true when I was a kid, while the Kang Corp. was my family's business that was passed down to me, I can't just decline it because my parents especially father worked hard for it... And being their only child, it was my responsibility to continue it.... But, I just can't ignore the restaurant that I, myself build.... If only my first born was here, I am sure she is like Joohyun who can help me or even manage it for me.... As for Yeji? She don't want too, saying that she wants to follow her mother's steps in the fashion industry, and as a good father who am I to disagree....

"Seobang....."-Jessica called, when she went in, I looked at her and she looked somewhat troubled, she went out just to see Joohyun and the kids when Dahyun informs her of their arrival,

"Wae? Did something happened?"-I asked her, as I stop what I was doing,

"Nothing, its just that there's this woman who was with our Niece, and her name was just like our daughter, and she looked a little like Yeji too..."-She said, I listened to her carefully, Jessica was always like this when she saw someone look like our daughter she will immediately assumed things which I don't like because she was the only one suffering from it....

"Yeobo, we already talked about it right? I told you not to assumed things it will just hurt you... Maybe, it was just a coincidence...."-I gently said to her, she looked at me sighed,

"Your right.... I just missed our daughter and I can't help it...."-She said,

"I know honey.... I am doing everything I can to find her..... We will find her...."-I said and she nodded, I won't give up until I find her.....

Flash back ends.....

I was a fool not to believe what Jessica felt that day.... I shouldn't doubt her mother's instinct... It was never wrong, I should trust that.... Until I saw her and Yeji also said that she really looks like her older sister.... I must say she really is, her features did not change even a bit, maybe she just matures and I was wrong again for not thinking about the possibilities of her being my eldest....

If you ever wonder how we locate her its not that simple, I've sent two dozens of mens to look for her in every orphanage that South Korea had.... Of course one of those was the orphanage where The Bae's had been sponsoring since then, the one Aunty Bae founded, I don't know what to think how fate play with us.... If since then Jessica comes along with Tiffany at that orphanage maybe just maybe those lost time was not lost anymore.... But, we can just think like that it all happened and now she was an adult, when I heard about that orphanage of course I immediately went there not telling my wife for I don't want to keep her hopes up.... Arriving there we were greeted by the cleaners and was sent to the Directors office which was now manage by Mrs. Taehee, because of the recent events that happened with Mr. Kim and his son....
