Month Four

Lui Shirasagi : Sitting on the soft carpet of his cozy Tokyo apartment, he leans back against the couch, feeling both excited and a bit overwhelmed. "Wow, little guy, can you believe we're already in the fourth month? It feels like just yesterday I was trying to process the idea of becoming a dad. Now, you're growing bigger every day, and I can feel it! It's incredible to think that I'm carrying a life inside me. You're like a little secret, and it feels surreal."

He gently places his hands on his belly, feeling the faintest flutter of movement, a sensation that brings a smile to his face.

Lui Shirasagi : "Do you feel that? I think that was you! It's so strange but wonderful. Sometimes, I catch myself just sitting here, trying to imagine what you look like, what your personality will be like. I wonder if you'll have my competitive spirit or if you'll be more laid-back, like your mom. Whatever you turn out to be, I want you to know that I'll be your biggest fan. I want you to chase your dreams, even if they're not the same as mine."

He chuckles softly, recalling his fierce battles in the tournament arena.

Lui Shirasagi : "I mean, I've spent so much of my life focusing on Beyblade. I've trained for hours, pushing myself to be the best. But now, it's like everything's shifted. My victories feel less important compared to the thought of you. You're my new priority. I can't wait to introduce you to the thrill of battling, but I also want to make sure you find your own path. I want you to be happy above all else."

Another light kick from within interrupts his thoughts, and he laughs, feeling a rush of warmth.

Lui Shirasagi : "Wow! You're definitely getting stronger! It's like you're already trying to communicate with me. Are you saying, 'Hey, Dad, I'm ready to take on the world too'? Because if you are, I'm all in! Just remember, I want you to find your own rhythm in life. Don't feel pressured to follow in my footsteps. Just be you."

He sits up a little straighter, feeling a surge of determination.

Lui Shirasagi : "You know, I've started doing some reading about parenting. It's a bit daunting, to be honest. There's so much to learn! But I've also discovered that being a dad is about being there for you, teaching you, and learning from you too. I want to create an environment where you feel safe and loved. I want our home to be filled with laughter, joy, and maybe even a little chaos. It'll be an adventure, one that I'm more than ready to embark on."

He takes a deep breath, thinking about the changes he needs to make in his life.

Lui Shirasagi : "I've realized I'll need to step up my game, not just for myself but for you. I've been living on takeout and energy drinks, and that's not going to cut it. I want to learn how to cook-like, really cook! I want to prepare meals that are nutritious and delicious. You deserve the best, and I want to be able to provide that for you. Maybe I'll even experiment with some recipes. Just picture it: Dad in the kitchen, trying to figure out how to make spaghetti without burning it."

Another gentle kick makes him laugh again, a mixture of joy and disbelief washing over him.
