Part 44(Finale)

A loud gunshot is heard.

While Hannah flinches, screaming as she sees Namhee's arms bleeding.

"M-mom" she looks at her with wide eyes, but does not approaches her.

Looking at her right, there stood Seojoon, holding a gun.

Just then, Jungkook comes running, approaching Taehyung who was startled badly, and was full on panicking as she gasps.

Namhee takes few choked breathe before fainting. Hannah and Seojoon shared glances before Hannah made a call.

While,"T-taehyung"  jungkook chokes, untying taehyung.

As soon as he does, they immediately jump into eachother's embrace.

"I-i thought-you left me" he chokes on his words while holding her tightly, as if she'll fade away if he lets go.

"How could i?" With tears, she mnages to form,"O-our contract-still has 2 months to complete"

They laugh inbetween the bittersweet tears,  realizing there might have been nothing between them if not for tge stupid contract that jungkook out of fun decided to make.

It wasn't followed, but definitely became a great excuse. Until now, for her to not leave him. Ever.

With those words, the nostalgia hits both of them so hard, as the realization hits them, they're meant to be.

"I love you to death" she whispered.

"I love you to the moon and up" he replied.

And there they were, once again in eachother's embrace, but this time, they jad no fear.

They knew their love was strong, and that they were meant to be.

Jungkook is just thankful towards Hannah for calling him and telling him where taehyung was because Namhee jusy went insane, unwilling to hear Hannah's denial. She was too scared but she still helped him amd taehyung.

She called seojoon and him. He is thankful of his bestfriend.

They both have had the same flashback moments ago, and so they were not surprised of anything. They got all the answers. All of them.

"Doctor?" Jungkook stands up as the doctor comes out of the door.

"She doesn't have that much physical damage but, she might be unstable mentally." He faces a confused jungkook,"While we are not sure what might be the cause, we suspect its due to immense guilt and stress. I suggest you to not let anyone talk to her."

Jungkook half-heartedly nods.

While what Namhee was about to do was unforgivable, she is still the mom who took care of him his whole life. How could he leave alone, he will definitely let her suffer but not now.

He stood there until he felt a hand around his torso and eventually warmth.

A hug.

"Is she fine?" Taehyung faces him before he nods.

She wraps his arms around him,"What did he say?"

Jungkook holds her close, sighing,"It's about time she tells the world about what our grandma and she did."

There was a moment of silence before taehyung spoke,"It will affect your reputation very badly."

But jungkook pulls away, holding her shoulders,"They need to know the truth, so we can be together peacefully. Keeping them in lie would be even difficult."

Taehyung sighs, acknowledging as she nods,"If you say so. Im with you."

There was a huge debate and protest when Namhee, haunted by Byeol finally reveals the truth to the media, unveiling the whole 'curse' thing, as she faced most of the backlash.

Emotionally dishelved and guilty of how she wanted to control her son's life, she decided to go to stay reserved untill she was back to normal. Not before asking for forgiveness of her son, daughter in law and Hannah.

Jungkook couldn't see her mother literally begging on her knees before him so he forgave, taehyung could never not and Hannah was glad she acknowledged what's right like her.

She realized it when she was grieving the loss of a bestfriend and her dream. A dream that could never come true.

Taehyung and Jungkook stood by the garden as they watched the workers plant a small tree.

"Why are we doing this by the way?" Jungkook asks, as he looks at his wife, expecting answer.

Taehyung, who was snuggled close to her husband as she had her arms looped around his, shows off a boxy smile,"So that it can grow along with our baby. I have a feeling, our baby will be attached by heart."

The worker finishes planting the tree as they bow and left.

"Aren't you kind of, delusional?" Jungkook teases as they head back inside their house, walking through the garden.

Offended, Taehyung flicks his forhead, making him laugh while she pouted,"I just have a feeling, dont bully me now"

Jungkook faces her,"What are you? Five?"

Taehyung, hands on her hips, frowns at him.

Before she loops her arms around his again,"Maybe. What about it?"

Jungkook steals a kiss,"Nothing. Just realizing that my baby's gonna have a baby." He chuckles,"then I'll have to look after two babies."

"Stop calling me baby!" Taehyung bursts out before retreating.

"It's just been a month and your mood swings are already so intense" jungkook tries to reach her hand when taehyung yanks it away, earning a laugh from jungkook.

"Babe, okay, in sorry" he even holds his ear as he says so.

But his sly smile ticked her off,"Go to hell" she stomps her way inside the house.

He quickly follows her,smiling lovesickly.

"Babee" he says before holding her wrist and pushing her against the wall.

Taehyung huffs,frowning when jungkook cages her by his arms on each side.

"I hate you" she mumbles.

Jungkook smirks before catching her lips between his. Sucking her soft lips as she kissed back almost immediately.

He pulls back, resting his forehead against her as they both pant,"I love you too"

Initially taehyung acts angry but when jungkook chuckles so sexily and teasingly taehyung gives in, smiling slyly as she slaps his chest and hugs her by her neck while he immediately holds her by waist.

"I love you more"
