ONE YEAR WAS ALL ALICE WANTED WITHOUT HER BOYFRIEND GOING ALL OUT.
She sat on a couch with Malia Gee, her close friend, when Sam Golbach and Colby Brock burst in the front door of their Vegas home. The girls gasped and stared at them.
It was Sam's proud grin that made Alice narrow her eyes. "What did you do?"
Sam's blue eyes met Alice, and he realised sometimes his sweet girlfriend was actually terrifying. He glanced at the keys in his hands. "...it's more like what did we buy."
Alice rose to her feet. "Samuel Golbach, what did you buy?"
"If you brought the Conjuring House I'm visiting my mom," Malia pointed to the door. "I'm not getting possessed like you two do once a week."
"We didn't buy the Conjuring House," Colby assured her. "We brought a school."
"...why? Neither of you can legally teach or work at a school?" Alice frowned, having to bite a smile back when Sam wrapped an arm around her. She still was confused - and if they did something stupid, she'd lecture them.
"It's abandoned," Sam explained, glancing to Colby. "And it might be...haunted."
"And demonic."
Alice gasped, pulling away from Sam. "Samuel, Cole, you better be joking."
"It might be for Hellweek. And we might be living in it for a week."
And so Malia got to watch as Sam and Colby got a little scolding from Alice Mackenzie, before Alice wrapped her arms her boyfriend and told him don't die.
Malia decided then that Alice Mackenzie and Sam Golbach were the cutest couple.
