Episode 3: The Passing Students

[The episode begins where it left off inside the classroom where the Make-up Work Club would meet. Sensei meets with Azusa, one of the former members, who barricaded herself inside the room with traps and ammo.]

Azusa: Good to see you safe Sensei. I wasn't expecting a sudden visit from you. Hmm? Why am I here? Mmm... It will take time to debrief you on the current situation, but I will do my best. At o-seven hundred, I finished my morning routine and arrived at Trinity on time. I completed my gun maintenance and prepared extra improvised explosives in case an emergency confrontation today-

Sensei:

- "Y-You don't have to explain every single of your day."

- "Umm... I was asking what happened in the classroom."

Azusa: Oh, this... It is exactly what is looks like. I have barricaded myself inside the classroom against any intruders. A couple of students were prepared to take the place for themselves, so I drew my weapon first and chased them out. Afterwards, I laid down explosive traps around key entry points and waited for the next incoming wave.

Sensei:

- "Are you protecting something?"

- "Is this about the Make-up Work Club?"

Azusa: ...!! ...Sensei knows best. You are correct, I am protecting this classroom for the sake of the Make-up Work Club. I heard about the Tea Party's decision, but I do not trust it. It must be false information spread by the president to stop us from regrouping.

Azusa: (sweating face) ...Huh? What president Nagisa-san said was true? The Make-up Work Club is truly disbanded? ...I do not believe it. The club was established to help every member remediate their work and pass their exams. It makes no sense why it cannot be reinstated again this year.

Azusa: What about the other members? Hmm... Koharu and Hanako. Yes, they were with me when we were informed. Allow me to recap what occurred in your absence.

[Azusa begins explaining her story a few days before their arrival. The flashback occurs inside the Justice Task Force clubroom where Hasumi informs her, Koharu, and Hanako of Nagisa's message.]
