"JESS, WHY are we here?" juliet asks, standing face to face with the brunette boy.
"we had fun the other night, figured i'd take you again," he explains, taking a seat on the grassy hillside, starting at the pond.
"we smoked and talked, not sure how that's fun but go on," she giggles, crossing her arms over one another, shivering to the cold night breeze.

"cold?" he questions.
"a little, i'm fine though," she assures, rubbing her arms to attempt to make some sort of heat.

jess pulls his jacket off his body, rising to his feet and stepping down the hill a little, face to face with the sat juliet.
"what are you..." juliet mutters as jess droops his jacket over her.
"there. better?" he asks, taking his place on the hill again.

she swallows nervously, nodding her head.
"you nervous?" he smirks.
"no? why would i be nervous?" she furrows her brows.
jess shrugs "just... seem to be," he leans closer to her and so does juliet, the barrier between them inching less and less.

the lips almost pressing when the sound of car horns honking ring through juliet's ears, waking her from the dream she was experiencing.

she gasps quietly, panting ever so softly.
"moron!" jack shouts out the window.

juliet glances over at jack in the driver's seat.
"sorry jules, didn't mean to wake you, we're 10 minutes out if you wanna keep sleeping?" jack offers, glancing from the road to juliet.
"i'll- i'm good, thanks.." she assures with a yawn, moving her hand away from her face and around her stomach with her other arm, now looking out the window.

7:08 p.m.

the minutes passed quick, jack had now driven into stars hallow and they were at the beginning of the driveway to sookie and lorelai's new inn.

"she said seven right?" jack checks.
"yeah, but stars hallow runs on its own time," juliet chuckles as the two park.

jack removes the key, stepping out of his chevrolet corvette.
juliet flips the shade down, looking into the mirror adjusting the smudge lipstick from her bottom lip before flipping it back up and stepping out of the car.

"besides the gilmores, you know anyone coming?" jack asks as they walk towards the door.
"i didn't make the guest list," she shrugs.

they reach the large doors, standing outside of them.
"do we just... go in?" jack asks.
"i guess?" she reaches forward, turning and pull the inn door open.

a group of people scattered around the room, chatting and laughing about whatever.
"where are they parked? was i suppose to park there?" jack huh's as lorelai walks towards them.

"hi beautiful!" lorelai greets, wrapping her arms around juliet.
"hey! the place looks amazing, thanks for inviting us," juliet smiles as lorelai steps back.
"of course, hey kid," she smiles at jack.
"hi, was i supposed to park out there? i didn't see anyone else's car?" he asks.
"oh yeah, most people walked," lorelai chuckles.
