Astrea stared at Aneirin in complete disarray. She didn't remember ever saying anything to him, so what on earth did he mean when he said she was the one who told him? Before she could ask though, he answered her suspicions."You were going to tell me, I should say. I'm an ancient species, and I can see a few minutes into the future with some accuracy. Things get a bit weird sometimes, but every time you think to start the motion of writing to me I can see the future where you did write and show me." His face was dead serious as he spoke, it was a very odd thing to hear, and even odder to comprehend. Yet she didn't doubt him, as his actions had shown there must be some truth to what he was saying. It was beyond confusing, before she could make any sort of movement his attention turned to the door. "You two. Just come in. We have what we need to plan." He spoke in a stern voice, before turning to her with a smile.
Whatever she had got herself into, it was beyond confusing, and even more so it seemed dangerous; but who was she to say no? A chance to avenge her parents was a chance she had to take. The planning phase lacked planning at all, it was complete silence as Marcus and Dawn looked at one another, and at Aneirin. The silence was excruciating, nobody had any clue what to say. Astrea couldn't even say anything if she wanted to, not that she had any sort of idea what to say. The supposed leader, Aneirin, was completely silent as well; his face plastered with a smile as he looked at each member of this half-assed group of rebels. After a few moments passed, Astrea's mind finally fluttered with something, the reason she found herself outside in the first place. That picture she saw, the purple witch woman, was with her as a child. She needed to find that woman, but who was she? Her only lead was the only other witch that lived in this entire kingdom, she owned a small alchemy shop with her wife. It wasn't too far from here from what she saw, that was where she needed to go. Perhaps the best chance to find a witch was to ask a witch! Before she could say a word, however, Aneirin interrupted her thoughts.
"A woman you saw in a photo...a witch. I see...so we will head to the potion shop. No time to waste, we will get the answers you need, Astrea." He spoke, once again, like a mind reader. After, he gave her a polite bow, stood up, and immediately began to make his way to the exit. Not a moment of hesitation, he took her word as if it was gospel. The rest of the group was hesitant. Yet instead of questioning anything, they followed along. It was abundantly clear at this point, this man had some trick up his sleeve to see what Astrea was thinking, and they wanted to know more. Perhaps out of fear, or just curiosity.
Their walk in the streets of the west district was a long one, they needed to go deeper into the kingdom to reach the shop, and unfortunately for them, they weren't all going to be welcomed there with open arms. After all, the inner districts of the kingdom were where the wealthy lived, and they never took kindly to any troublemaking lower class coming inside their walls. To make matters worse, the inner walls held many more guards than the outer, almost as if they were being extra cautious in there, especially now that some rebellious commotion has been spreading in the outer district. Once they approached the dark metal gate of the inner walls, they were almost immediately turned away. It was a miracle they weren't instantly recognized. Aneirin stood back a bit, his hand on his chin for only a moment as he thought, and almost immediately came up with an idea. Astrea had her eyes on him at the same time, since he seemed to know a lot more than the rest of them. She noticed his eyes seemed to close for a little longer than a normal blink, and within a few seconds, she could see that he very clearly had something in mind.
"I have an idea," Aneirin said, turning his attention to Marcus immediately. He then walked over to the small fossa and put his hand on its shoulder. "There are aqueducts...a little far to the left of the wall. You should be able to fit yourself in the openings, and wait for the guards to back away..then you can open the gate for us." It wasn't the best plan he could think of, but it was a quick plan nevertheless. With a nod, Marcus began to run away to the left. He knew where the aqueduct was, he had snuck into the inner walls before so he already knew what he was doing. All he had to wait for was Aneirin's distraction. Aneirin then turned his attention back to Astrea and Dawn, who were watching Marcus leave with an almost worried expression. "It'll be fine. Now you two....when the gate opens, you sneak in. I'll catch up with you." He gave them a nod, and Dawn didn't seem to have any issue with this plan. Astrea on the other hand was a little uncertain, as she didn't want her only chance to speak to people being captured this early on. Yet the look he gave her was one of so much sincerity that she couldn't protest against it. He was weird, yes, but he had risked himself to save her, and now he wanted to help her fulfill her parents' dreams. He was a good person, so she could trust him. He was strong and could see into the future, so she didn't need to worry. She gave him a nod, and now Dawn and Astrea stood together by a building, where they could see Aneirin step forward and approach the guards once more. To Astrea's disbelief, his plan for causing a distraction was to fight; but, not with a weapon. Instead, he used his bare hands to disarm and subdue the two main guards in the front, attracting the attention of the many side guards and guards on the other side of the gate. The gate was pulled open and closed behind them as these guards now attacked Aneirin. Astrea flinched slightly at this sight, but she had faith in him. Faith that he knew exactly what he was doing. Now while this fight seemed to escalate quickly, the gate opened once again, and Dawn started to run toward it. Astrea hesitated for a moment, but then began to follow behind Dawn. Within only a few moments, they entered the inner walls of the kingdom, seeing that Marcus was the one who opened the gate. Just as they entered, the gate closed behind them. Astrea turned to Marcus, a bit of an angry look on her face from the fact he had just locked Aneirin out.
