The next day, Marshall and Everest woke up early and packed up their campsite. They loaded their gear into the truck and headed back to Adventure Bay.
As they drove, they talked about their adventure. Everest couldn't stop smiling. She had had the time of her life.
"I can't believe we did all that," she said. "It was amazing."
"I'm glad you had fun," Marshall said. "I had a lot of fun too."
When they arrived back in Adventure Bay, Marshall and Everest snuck the head of the bighorn sheep into his room. They hung it on the wall, next to the other heads.
Everest was amazed at how impressive the collection looked. She couldn't believe that she had been a part of it.
"I can't wait to go hunting again," she said.
Marshall smiled. "I know," he said. "Me too."
As the days turned into weeks, Marshall and Everest continued to spend time together. They would often go hiking, fishing, or just hang out at Marshall's house.
Everest was always learning new things from Marshall. He taught her how to identify different types of animals, how to track them, and how to hunt them.
Marshall was proud of Everest. She was a quick learner and a natural-born hunter. He knew that she had a bright future ahead of her.
One day, Marshall and Everest were sitting on the couch, watching TV. Marshall was thinking about his next hunting trip. He wanted to take Everest with him, but he knew that he had to be careful. He didn't want to put her in danger.
"Hey, Everest," he said. "Do you want to go hunting with me next weekend?"
Everest's eyes lit up. "Yes!" she exclaimed. "That would be awesome."
Marshall smiled. "Okay," he said. "But we're going to have to be careful. We'll be hunting in a remote area, and there could be dangerous animals out there."
Everest nodded. "I understand," she said. "I'll be careful."
Marshall and Everest were excited for their next adventure. They knew that it would be a challenge, but they were ready to face whatever came their way.
