No Word From the Boys and Kajol's Grief

"Have we gotten word yet?" Amitabh ji asked Shah Rukh ji as he sank into the overstuffed armchair in the shady corner of the room.

They were in the Major General's office, and the Major General was Shah Rukh ji.

"No... but maybe Ranveer will send a letter to Deepika," Shah Rukh ji replied hopefully.

Salman ji scoffed. "Really? I doubt it. Ranveer Singh is the General. And Generals must not bow down to love! I would know, since I am a Major! I have never married because-"

"Shut up for once, will you?" Shah Rukh ji snapped.

Kajol was circling her small office, sighing as she rested her face in her hands, sinking into her desk chair.

"What's wrong?" Priyanka asked her, concerned.

"Ajay went to Klaustiv days ago. I thought he'd be back by now."

"Klaustiv?" Priyanka repeated. "What's that?"

"A kingdom not far from Delhi. Ajay was originally sent to Zzyzx, but he decided it would be much safer to head to Klaustiv instead. I told him that wasn't smart, since Zaheer could ambush him and his troops any second, but he didn't listen."

Deepika gave her a sympathetic smile. "I'm sure he's fine."

"I hope so."

"Don't worry, Kajol ji," Alia assured her, standing up. I'll have Shah Rukh ji tell Ranveer, Ranbir, and Varun to head to Klaustiv and retrieve him after their visit to Delhi."

Kajol's pretty features twisted with distress. "No. They don't need to risk their lives for Ajay. I'll go myself if need be."

Deepika sighed. "They're already risking their lives. Alia, tell Shah Rukh ji to reach out to Ranveer and tell him to go to Klaustiv first, then to Delhi. Zzyzx is a lost cause."

"Why was Ajay sir planning on going to Zzyzx originally?" Priyanka asked curiously.

Kajol rested her head on the headrest. "Zzyzx has a shady, dark past. It's a sketchy kingdom, one I'm still not sure if we can ever truly trust. But Ajay had the idea that if we formed a treaty with them, then they wouldn't suddenly unearth the desire to attack Bollywood. He didn't want to avoid the risk, so he decided to face it face-to-face."

"Lots of faces," Alia joked, hoping to lighten the mood.

Kajol groaned, and Deepika and Priyanka shot the poor girl a glare.

Alia felt her cheeks grow hot. "I'll go tell Shah Rukh ji to tell Ranveer to head to Klaustiv," she informed them before darting out of the office.

"I have no idea what to do with this girl," Priyanka muttered.

"It's okay, PriPri. Alia was just trying to release tension," Kajol said, waving the situation away. "Very kind of her."

A few tears streamed down Kajol's cheeks, and Deepika immediately scooted closer, allowing Kajol to sob into her shoulder.

Deepika glanced at Priyanka. "PC, tell Shah Rukh ji to tell Ajay sir to expect Ranveer, Ranbir, and Varun."

"Of course, Deepee."
