Ahaan sat on the floor next to his suitcase, excitement bubbling inside him as he prepared for his upcoming trip to Dharmshala for the selections. He couldn't believe he had made the cut; this was a huge opportunity for him. With his phone now in hand, he felt a rush of adrenaline and nervousness.

He made his way to Shubman, who was busy sorting through some paperwork. "Papa, I'm heading to Dharmshala. Can I have my phone back, please?"

Shubman looked up, his expression softening. "Of course, Ahaan. Just remember to focus and don't get distracted." Ahaan nodded eagerly and, with his phone finally in his grasp, hurried off to find Aadhya.

He found her sitting on the balcony, staring out into the distance, lost in thought. A light breeze rustled her hair, and she didn't notice him at first. Ahaan approached her quietly, knowing how emotional she could get when it came to farewells.

"Hey," he said softly, leaning against the balcony railing.

Aadhya turned to him, her eyes brightening a little. "Hey, you. Are you ready for your big adventure?"

Ahaan smiled, trying to mask his own nerves. "Yeah, just a bit anxious, you know? But mostly excited!"

Aadhya nodded, her smile fading slightly. "I can't believe you're leaving. It's going to be so quiet without you around. Who am I supposed to annoy now?"

Ahaan chuckled, knowing she was trying to lighten the mood. "You'll always find someone to annoy, Didi. Besides, I'll be back before you know it."

She sighed, crossing her arms. "I know, but we fight a lot, and yet I can't stand the thought of you being away for too long. It feels weird."

Ahaan stepped closer, his playful demeanor shifting to sincerity. "I feel the same way. We may argue, but you know I always have your back, right? No matter what."

Aadhya looked at him, a mix of pride and worry in her eyes. "Just promise you'll take care of yourself and not get too caught up in the excitement. You've worked so hard for this."

"Promise," he replied, giving her a reassuring smile. "And I'll text you every chance I get, okay? You won't get rid of me that easily."

She smirked, finally breaking into a smile. "Good, because I'll be expecting updates. And don't you dare forget to send me the results of your matches!"

"I won't! Just make sure to keep annoying everyone else while I'm gone," Ahaan teased, nudging her playfully.

As they shared a laugh, Aadhya's gaze turned serious again. "Just remember, you're going to do great. I believe in you."

"Thanks, Didi," he said, genuinely touched. "It means a lot to me."

With a final hug, Ahaan felt a swell of determination. He was ready to face whatever awaited him in Dharmshala, buoyed by the support of his sister. The bond they shared, even through all the bickering, was something he cherished deeply. As he left her balcony, he knew that no matter the distance, their connection would always remain strong.
